Replaced a bad 240 volt heat relay and the problem was solved.

Dryer not staying hot. Heat shuts off and doesn't come back on.
Detach front door and pop off front panel. Replaced heating unit on right and all parts on unit. Replaced cycling timer and thermostor on left. The thermostat was the last item replaced. We did this on three stages. First we replaced heating element, still had problem. Then we replaced the high limit and cycling thermostats, still had problem. Had a repairman out. He could not figure it out, because there were no error codes. He suggested replacing the thermostor. We did that and it fixed our problem. We could have saved alot if we did that first, but no one mentioned that part.

Dryer stopped heating up.
Dryer stopped heating after a few days of it being an intermintant problem. I ohmed the heating coil and it was fine @ 12-15 ohms and the 2 sensors were open so I knew they were not the problem. The only item left was the Heater Relay. As soon as it was changed, dryer operated as it should.

Dryer shuts down on regular heat setting after about 10 minutes to a 7e display. Ok on delicate or airfluff settings. Technician replaced Thermistor but still shuts down. Recommendation now is to replace relay. Do you think this could be the problem?

Hello Douglas, Thank you for the question. The manufacturer has assigned this error code to indicate the dryer is overheating. If the Vent is clear from the dryer to the Outdoor Vent and the Duct and cabinet is clear, we suggest testing the Cycling Thermostat, High Limit Thermostats and the Heater Relay. We hope this helps!
