This door shelf bin may also be known as a refrigerator door bin, or simply as a bucket, and is compatible with your refrigerator. This piece is sold individually and is white in color. The function of the door shelf bin is to attach to the inside of your refrigerator wall and sit as a secure shelf that would usually hold jars and bottles. The door bin measures to be about 18 inches wide, 4.5 inches high, by 7 inches deep. There will be no tools required for you to make this installation.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
I bought a refrigeator that was stored in a public storage area. When I initally connected the water source to the refrig, there was a big wter leak under the refrig. The repair was quite easy once you identify the part that is broken. Day 1 (Investigate the leak): I pulled out the refrig. I removed the screws (7) holding the bottom cardboard panel. Once done, I removed the screws (2) holding the inlet value in place. I pulled out the value about inches and inspected what was wrong. (There was a hairline crack in the body of the value caused by the water freezing when it was stored outdoors). I wrote down all the numbers off of the valve and then I ordered my parts online from PartsSelect (plug for company!!!). I also ordered a water filter, since it had cracked as well. I put everything back together in reverse order, and left the water turned off. Day 2 (3 days after ordering parts). Took apart the refrig again, just like Day 1. I read the instructions that came with the Water Inlet Valve and they were "exact". Disconnected the electrical connectors. I had the push-in fitting type of hose connector, so I simply pushed in (not pull!!!) the collet (colored collar around the opening) inward towards the valve and pulled the tubing (4) away from the valve. VOILA!!! Real easy! I compared the old valve and the new valve...yup, correct part! Now the installation was a breeze! I simply reversed the order. Pushed in all the hoses into the correct fittings, reconnected the electrical connectors, and reinstalled the valve to the refrig, and attached the water filter in the front of the refrig. I turned on the water source and checked for leaks. No surprises here!!! The connections held and there were no leaks! I reinstalled the cardboard backing and I pushed back the refrig in place.Moral of my story: if you are going to store your refrigerator outdoors, drain all the water from the water and ice maker system!!!

I just removed the old bin from the door and just snapped the new one on. So easy to replace!
I called a appliance repair company they said they would have to charge me 75.00 to come out to look at the part i needed. I told them to forget it. I copied the part number and went on the internet to part select website I typed in the number and I order it, it came in three days. It only cost me 29.00 and the part fit like a glove, it took 1 min. to install.
pulled old door bin off and installed new one in about 30 seconds. thanks for the fast service hank
I took out all the condiments from the shelves, gasped at how dirty the shelves were, took out the shelves and clicked the brand new, clean shelves into my refrigerator. I threw away expired condiments and replaced the still great ones. I closed the fridge and gave a sigh of relief of yet another task checked off my list.
Replaced bin - very easy. I could not believe how fast you guys got me the part :)
I am amazed! I ordered the bin door on Thursday night and it arrived on Saturday morning @8:45 am. It took longer to open the box than to install! Thanks.
Replaced the door bins in less than 30 seconds. The service person on the phone was very helpful in making sure I received the right bins I needed, the shipping was prompt, and I was very satisfied.
Replaced the shelf it took 10 Sec
Be very, very careful to mark, or make record, of each element as they are removed. For the system to work, the metal "crusher" and dispenser parts must be reinstalled in the exact position as taken out. If you can visualize the assembly, you will note that arms in the drum are placed in a way which allows cube or crushed dispensing. Besides making a schematic, I took a picture which helped me. Of course I am not a real refrigerator repair guy, and had to take the extra steps.
Just Snapped out the old bins and snaped the new ones in . Have not replaced filter yet but it also is a snap.
I just opened the door and slid the new shelf in place.. Now I have the extra shelf space I wanted....
The door bin wasd a snap just take out the old and put in the new. The Ice bin auger was a little difficult because when we took out the ice crusher part we had problems putting it back to it would contine to cruch, it is still off some but on a whole I now can get ice from the door again. I could have used better directions on taking out the old and replaceing it.
I popped the front cover off of the LH door by lightly prying with a flathead screwdriver. The bracket was under the cover and it came out by popping the retaining tabs to the side. I removed the wires and switches from the old bracket and moved them to the new bracket and reinstalled the new bracket by pushing into place. I then snapped the cover back into place. The bin for the door was as easy and just sliding into place.
My repair tool less than a minute, but I just wanted to say how fast my parts got here. I only requested standard mail but the parts were here the next day. Thanks for your prompt service!
