Most of the time was just removing the food and trays and cleaning up a bit. 3 nuts removed and re attached with a small socket wrench. No wires or anything. The lid then just simply snapped back into place.
First I removed the drawers under the lid and then the drawers over the lid. I also removed the glass shelving and shelf brackets. Then I removed the three screws holding the endcap and then replaced the endcap with a new one. Then I reassembled the shelves and drawers.
First I removed the screws from the draw track and screwed on the track to the new part. I then used a socket wrench to remove the component. Once removed, I used the socket wrench to screw in the new component. Finally I placed the cover back on the draw.
Removed sliding drawer. Removed the crisper drawers and glass shelf above the sliding drawer. Removed End Cap using nutdriver (3 nuts). Removed metal drawer slide from end cap (2 screws). Installed metal drawer slide on new end cap. Installed end cap. Replaced all parts removed, above. No problems. Everything fit as it should.
Removed drawers and glass shelf. Used 1/4 inch socket to remove three screws on broken end cap.removed two screws from left side draw slide from old part. Installed draw slide on new part. Installed new end cap and tightened screws. re-installed glass shelf and drawers.Easy job and a great price for the part. Thank you
I took all of the shelves and drawers out and took the opportunity to clean the interior to a like new condition. Removed the 4 screws holding the end cap to the side panel and removed end cap. Reversed the operation putting the new part in place and replace all shelves and drawers.Looks brand new.
The previous reviews were very helpful. I had confidence that buying the parts would fix the problem of broken clips to the pantry door. It was very easy to install with screw drivers and just remembring how I took it apart. Thanks for the previous reviews!!!!
Found partselect on internet, ordered the part, received the part in 2 days and removed the old part and installed the new part.
The repair was incredibly easy. More importantly the service and speed of delivery was way beyond expectations. What a great company!
Required removal of the entire endcap piece. A total of 5 screws. Hardest part was realizing i didn't have the right size socket wrench to start. Got that and replaced all 5 screws in under 5 minutes. $18 for part, $10 for tool.
very simple.........any steps I took taking a piece off - I just recalled when the time came to put the replacement pieces on.
