Bad gasket with large open gap
Take off freezer door to take off refrigerator door. Once fridge door off, put freezer door back on, lightly screw in place. Lay fridge door down flat on table. Take out all screws. Put new gasket in, while putting a few screws in to hold in place. Screw down. Use blow dryer to help get any kinks out. Easier than I thought it would be. I think my door is a little warped, but the gasket was enough to make it seal. No more condensation, and the fridge isn’t running all the time. Thanks parts people! Haha.

Not really a problem!
My brother just didn't listen and was doing it the hard way until a friend of mine looked it up on U-Tube and then it went pretty smooth. Lol So my advice is to look it up on U-Tube before you begin!!

Has to remove the panel of the fridge door
It was not difficult it took a lot of time to remove the panel by removing like 20 bolts around it. Put the panel down on the floor face down then wrap the gasket around it. Putting back the panel on the door you can use some help to hold it up, while you are screwing back all those bolts. After screwing the upper bolts of the panel, you better go down at the bottom and start working on it, because the gasket tends to fall off at the bottom part. Then you can screw all the rest of the bolts. That's how you do it.

Fridge gasket leaking; Freezer tray broken tab; Icemaker tube leaking
Fridge Gasket - heated the gasket with hairdrier to reform shape from shipping. Tried loostening nuts all around, but when installing the top part first, had to remove the nuts in order to have sufficient space to install gasket. Then tightened top nuts, and proceeded to install side parts, removing the nuts as I went down. Once about half down, was able to finish installation without removing any more nuts - loosening was enough.
Freezer tray - just slide it in. The only concern was the part deminsions were not correct. They showed the tray to be about 15", while my old tray was about 12". But when the tray arrived I was thankful that the new one matched the old one - 12". The diragram needs to be corrected.
Icemaker tube - no problems.

Door seal gasket was torn and needed replacement.
First I read other repair stories which really helped. I decided to leave the door on and use a 1/4" nutdriver plus a flat blade screwdriver. I loosed the screws on one side at a time. I pulled off the old seal and replaced with the new, using the flat blade to help tuck the seal in as needed. I also had to use a hair dryer to soften the new seal at some places in order to form it properly. Overall, I had great success!

Refrigerator door gasket would not seal
First removed door, then removed all screws, then removed inside door panel, then removed old gasket, then installed new gasket, then reattached inside door panel and all screws, then reattached door, then used hair dryer to get gasket to seal in several areas.

Old gasket had become worn and torn...
Pulled out old gasket. Removed inner door molding then fixed new gasket around the edges. Replaced screws around entire inner door and snugged gasket into place. Unfortunately, it seems that the new gasket's magnets were not so strong and the door tends to pop open easily. I suppose it is better than it was...we'll need to keep an eye on it and perhaps get a manual latch of some sort....

Water is accumulating under the two crispers, and droplets hang from the roof of the fridge compartment. This water has to be removed daily, and i wish to know whether a leaking gasket on the fridge door is contributing to the water build-up.
For model number DRT2102AW (Amana Distinctions)

Hi David, it is possible this is caused by a faulty gasket or even bent fridge door hinge. There could also be leaking water lines. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
