Freezer Door Gasket Leaking
Remove small 1/4 inch hex head screws around inner perimeter of door. You have to hold the gasket back to access them. The entire molded door liner/shelf comes off with the gasket. It took a little while to de-ice the fiberglass insulation that tucked into the door liner (the ice was a result of the leaking gasket). De-icing was achie
... Read moreved with first a heat gun to allow removal, then placed in the oven for a couple hours at 300F to melt and evaporate the moisture from the insulation. I also needed the heat gun to straighten/relax the new gasket, as it had taken on a permanent crumple from being stored in a smaller than actual sized box. Instructions to smooth the new gasket were included with the box. Finally, fit the new gasket around the perimeter of the door liner and re-install the door panel with the 1/4 inch hex screws.

gasket not sealing
removed screws holding original gasket. removed gasket. placed new gasket on door and replaced screws. A little tricky getting new gasket in position before screws. patience!
