This white freezer door handle is just over eighteen inches long. If the hinges are on the left side of your refrigerator, then this handle becomes the refrigerator door handle. Made of mostly plastic, but also of a little metal, this handle has a strip of chrome up one side for decoration.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
Use a small slot-head screwdriver to remove the tiny plastic clip on the bottom of the handle, and SAVE it, as none comes with the replacement part. Remove three screws. Remove old door handle. Position new door handle correctly, and insert three screws. Replace small plastic clip on bottom of door handle. It took me three minutes

unscrewed the side rail and rotated it to remove it from the rest of the assembly. Then ran the humidity tape through the new one and screwed it on. put it back in the ref and put the glass back on and the drawers and it was done!removed the old handles and replace with the new. It was all very simple.
Took off the top screw cover and unscrewed the two screws, removed the bottom screw cover and unscrewed that screw. Lifted off handle, cleaned up the area, put on new handle, replaced the screws, replaced the covers. Done.
Both handles had become unsightly. Cleaning with various household products failed to restore the white appearance. Use of stronger solvents softened the finish material and made the stain permanent. Replacement of the handles appeared to be the only remedy.Snap-in covers on the sides of the handles had to be popped to reveal screws, one under each cover. Two other obvious screws were removed. The Amana logo plate had to be removed by un-bending two retention tabs, flipped over, then re-installed. The parts supplied do not include new screws or screw covers, all of which have to be re-used.
I removed the old screws, removed the handles and replced the handles with the new handles
removed the three screws, removed the broken handles, put the new ones in places and screwd the screws that iI had removed back in place. it was very very simple
I unscrewed and removed both handles, cleaned up thre surface and replaced them with the new handles. It was easy. The handles were delivered as promised.
I removed the cover on the bottom of the old handle exposing 2 screws. I next removed the 2 screws at the top of the handle and the 2 screws at the bottom and removed the old handle. Next, I removed the access cover on the back of the new handle and the removed the Amana logo, fliped the logo so it would be right side up, and then replaced the access cover. Next, I connected the new handle to the door by replacing the 4 screws and then replaced the plastic cover on the bottom that I removed in the first step.
First removed the screws- took the old door handle off- put the new one on- and screwed it back. Very easy= received the handle in just a few days. Excellent !
I removed three screws each on the old handles & removed the handles.I reversed the process by attaching the new handles using the old screws. All looks great.
