NOTE: This part has been updated by the manufacture and now includes both left and right side.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Remove the drawers above the unit as others have indicated and the glass top and then using a 1/4 inch nut driver remove the screws. Now it gets just a bit tricky as the air control knob under the top is a two peice linkage that is best removed as a single unit being carefull not to break off the tab that rests in the middle back of the refrig. Simply swing it out towards the left as you face it and it will become obvious its just a simple tab and once it clears everything comes out in one unit. The logic holding everything together is simply a matter of squeezing a couple of tabs to remove the back portion then a couple more for the inner right side. Re assemble in reverse order and take the opportunity to give everything a real good cleaning. My time of about 45 minutes included a real good cleaning of all shelves etc....happy new year and thanks parts select for getting the part to me in what i think was next day...Awesome service guys

remove the two screws that hold the end cap on and carefully disassemble the linkage rods that control the temp control off and then just reverse the what you did. It wasn't that hard at all. The parts came in two days which was great. The bottom of the refrigerator needed to cleaned so it all worked out.
really easy it took less than 15 minutes, it took more time to clean out the refer. than to do the repair.
Took all the shelves and drawers off above part to be replaced and cleaned them. Removed old part and replaced with new.May I add new part fit perfectly!. No major problems encountered. Tip: remember where all parts were removed from!
Removed pantry and glass shelves. Remove three small screws. Pop out end cap and remove drawer rail(two phillips screws). Reinstall on new end cap and place back in refer with three screws. Reinstall glass shelves and pantry. Job complete!!!
Remove drawers. Remove 1/4 screws. Remove end cap. The linkage for temp control is very fragile so be very careful. Not a very dificult task at all.
Took of slider for drawer and put them on new part. Unscrewed three screws, took of old part and put on new part and screwed on. If I can do it anyone can.
All I had to do was remove three screws. Took a few minutes to figure out the arm that controls the air flow into the deli section but that was not difficult, and I replaced the piece and put the screws back in. Done! Beats the heck out of having someone from the company where I bought it come out, then go order the part, then come back out to install it. I figure I saved at least $100. Takes NO great talent.
Very quick, three screws and it came out Took rack off old piece and added it to the new part. Screwed back on 5 minutes. 3 years with broken hinge and 5minutes to replace. The parts shipped quick had it two days from purchase. I will use this for future appliance repair.
Was able see the part needed to be replaced from the pictures provided on the site. Part came in a few days. removed the old part and installed the parts in about 20 minutes
I removed the storage drawers, glass shelf and the large drawer. Next I removed the two mounting screws and removed the Pantry End Cap. I moved the slide bar and the drawer guide the the new Pantry End Cap. Then I installed the new Pantry End Cap in the refrigerator and replaced the drawers and shelf. Last, I installed the drawer cover. Job Done!
Removed the original part and replaced it with new part
had ro take off three nuts then two screws that hold on the metal slider for the deli drawer.there are several other plastic parts toremove and put on the new part, but it was fairly easyto take apart and put back on.Have to be patient and pay attention to how they come of and go back on. I was very impressed with delivery, I orderd on line thursday night and recieved the part Saturday morning. thanks
Remove drawers and shelf. Slide out bottom tray. Remove 2 nut screws from side panel. Pop out old panel. Remove drawer sliders. Reattach sliders to new panel. Pop in new panel and tighten screws. Reinstall shelf and drawers.
I removed the pantry drawer, removed the pantry end cap and replaced it with the new part. The only thing that took a little thinking was detaching and reattaching the temperature control slider.
