If you are having trouble rolling your dishrack in and out, there could be an issue with the rollers or axles. Check the existing rollers and axles for any visible physical damage. Look to replace the parts if the rollers or their axles are damaged. These rollers attach to the dishrack allowing the rack to roll in and out with ease. This pack includes 8 gray rollers measuring at approximately 1.75 inches L x 0.75 inches W x 1.75 inches H. Each roller comes with an axle.
This part works with the following brands: GE, Hotpoint & Kenmore.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Simplest job ever. Ordered wheel and axles and when arrived pushed in the axle on the rear of the wheel and pushed onto the rack. Took less than one minute and working fine since.

Simple repair... Great Company, quick shipping (in CA had it the next day). Quality parts, GE OEM!! And to top it off the lowest prices!!
All I had to do is take out the rack, pop off the old wheels, place the new stud rollers on, then pop on the new wheels. So easy and now my dishes don't get chipped when I pull the rack out and push it back in. I wish I didn't wait so long to order new parts.
Order arrived two days after being placed. Super easy to remove the old, worn, broken plastic parts and replace with new. Everything popped right on just as shown in the diagram. Our happiness with our dishwasher has increased 100%. BTW, thanks to the very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff at PartSelect.com -- next job, replace the ice maker in the freezer!
Pull old rack out, slip new one in!One thing i did was order wheels and studs as i was unaware they lower rack came fully equiped with all wheels, studs, and flip up dish dividers. So if your replacing the rack no need to order the wheels! The diagram made it look as if you only et the wire rack and not all the added pieces.
ordered replacement parts and when they arrived i noticed they were a differant part # then what was ordered and a differant wheel axle design and wow i don't thing these will brake like the others thank you PARTSELECT
I removed the old wheels & studs on the right side of the bottom rack of the dishwasher, and I gleefully THREW THEM ALL OUT! HA HA!Then I put the nice new rollers on the studs, and then I put them on the rack. Helpful hints for others beleaguered by this design problem: 1) Be sure to get new studs - that's the part that kept causing the wheels to fall off2) Put the rollers on the studs before putting them on the rack. (Another user on this site noted that, and it was very helpful).3) P.S. Very prompt shipping, great service - I will definitely use this company again. And thanks to whoever dropped a cheerful Christmas candy into the box!!
Easilly took the rollers off and slipped on the new ones. Changed out the top rack. Now the dishwasher is back to new! Don't know why I put this off.
I had no troubles!Thank you...
tormented by the wheels falling off the lower rack in the dishwasher, had to lift it in and out when loading, then it would get hung up and not enter straight. a real pain in the @$%.i was so happy to find parts select, and see that other people had the same problem. i ordered the new wheels and modified clip. shipping was really fast. took off the older ones and replaced them. when my husband came home and saw i fixed it myself, he was astonished. no more fighting the rack. smooth and better than new. thx parts select!!
Having ordered new axles and wheels, we easily took the old ones off and snapped on the new ones. Once we realized NOT to put the wheels on the axles before attaching them to the rack, the repair was super easy. Evidently GE had put inefficient axles on the original dishwaser and had subsequently redesigned them.
This worked great. Cheap and easy.
I read others repairs for this problem on your website and copied what they purchased. I couldn't believe how easy it was to replace them. I can't believe I lived with no wheels for about six months!
replaced axles and wheels, all (8) with new re-designed axles and wheels, better than new.
Once we ordered both the "Stud Roller" and "Roller Lower Rack" the repair was simple. The previous studs mostly disitegrated, so their removal was not an issue. The wheels pulled off easily.I recomend getting new studs and rollers for all of the wheels on your rack. For me, that was 8 wheels and 8 studs. First, take the rack out and flp it upside down in a convenient working space. Next, remove all of the old wheels and studs from the rack and discard. Then, snap the new wheels on to the new studs. Next, atached the stud (with the wheel) to each of the 8 spots on the rack. Put the rack back in the dishwasher and walla! I can't beive that I waited almost two years to make this simple repair.
