This pantry drawer lid is also known as a pantry drawer door or pantry drawer cover. This is a genuine OEM part, and is sold individually. This part helps keep everything inside the drawer. It acts as a cover, and also keeps your drawer at the proper temperature by creating a seal. You may need to replace this part if door does not open or close, or if the drawer is too cold. No tools are required for this replacement, simply push the hinge pins aside to remove the old lid. Consider checking the pantry end cap kit for damage before ordering the pantry drawer lid, as they are often purchased together.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
I removed the plasic inner parts, used the torx drivers to remove the internal platic plate that covered the sump. Found the food chopper cover and removed it. It had gotten a piece of plastiic wrapped around it. As it spun it had ground the teeth off the end of the drive on the impellor and the food chopper. I replace both as a set and it works fine.

Parts arrived quick and installed easy. One reveiwer said his wife did theinstall and that was my inspiration. Thank you.
Pushed the hinge pins aside and removed the old lid.. Reversed the process to install the new lid
First I removed the drawers above the pantry drawer. Then I took out the pantry drawer. I unsrewed 3 screws that attached the part to the refreg. I then removed the rails that were attached to the part I was repalcing and put them on the new part. I then install the new part. Put the firg back together. It was extremely easy and took about 5 minutes to do.
Pantry Cover: I just slided out the tray, and unscrewed the left pantry panel that was broken, and replaced it with the new one, then put in the new cover after sliding the trays back in.Ice Maker:I unplugged the power connector in the back, unscrewed the ice maker with a flat screw driver (3 screws), slide it out, and then unplugged the wiring from the old ice maker and put it into the new one, mounted the new ice maker back in, make sure the lever is working, and then closed the freezer to let it cool down so that water can start flowing to it when it becomes cold enough (took about a good hour or so before water started filling the ice maker). Once the freezer was cold enough, water started filling the ice maker, and it begin making ice again.
The parts arrived VERY quickly.Replacement was extremely easy even though the right side end cap has the temperature adjustment it only took 15-20 minutes.
Broken lid popped out, new lid popped in. No tools required. 30 seconds to replace. Great price, part shipped within an hour of placing my order and arrived the next day, although I only paid for standard shipping. Excellent service - will definitely order again if the opportunity arises!
Easy repair. Unwrapped the new cover; pulled the old one off by releasing tabs. Inserted new piece.Took less than 15 minutes. Looks like new. The replacement part arrived quickly from Part Select.
Removed broken lid and snapped new one in place.
Could not figure out why this was happening suddenly. Then remembered I had recently changed the lid to one I had stored for over two years in the garage. They had sent me a replacement lid when the unit was less than a year old because the origianl had a crack in the clear section. Noticed it seemed a little warped. Thought I would replace it to see if that solved theproblem. We had to replace the side panel of the draawer because the warped lid had broken the peg off of one side. I didn't want that to happen again. The new lid did the job....This company is the only one I will use in the future for my appliances. Very easy to find parts and the pricing was better.
I simply replaced the shelves and drawers
Pulled the broken pantry door off, and snapped the new door in place. Vry simple.
