Order arrived two days after being placed. Super easy to remove the old, worn, broken plastic parts and replace with new. Everything popped right on just as shown in the diagram. Our happiness with our dishwasher has increased 100%. BTW, thanks to the very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff at PartSelect.com -- next job, replace the ice maker in the freezer!

pulled the racks out, replaced the broken parts....easy job
Bottom rack - slide the old one out, slide the new one in. The rack came came with the wheels, so I didn't use the replacement ones.Top rack - remove the rail end caps - they will likely break so order new ones. Slide the rack out. Remove the rotating spray arm and then remove all the brackets. I was able to re-use the old brackets and didn't need the replacements. Install the old brackets on the new rack, install the spray arm, and slide the new rack back into the rails. The new top rack also came with wheels installed, so I didn't use the replacement ones. Once the rack is back in the rails, install new rail end caps. Put them in sideways and facing into the washer. Straighten the caps and turn them into place. Be careful with the rail caps - they break easy and are expensive. Make sure they hold the top rack in place, and that's it.
Everything snapped on quite easily. I was releaved to not have to replace "everything."
Took the rack out. Took off the broken wheels and axles. Popped the new ones on, while replacing the rack. Piece of cake! Saved over $100.
Simple enough to remove the existing dishwasher shelves . . . then tweak off the old axles and rollers and replace them with the new ones. Trying this yourself? Don't be dismayed at first if the parts you just bought aren't exactly the same configuration as the ones you pulled off! The new configuration axles secure just fine with a little thought and pressure in the right places. Last word: The parts were received in just two DAYS after the order. Now the dishwasher shelves are gliding like the day we installed it!
Removed two upper rack rail end cap stops. Removed upper rack. Replaced four old upper rack rollers (wheels) and installed four new upper rack rollers. Replaced upper rack in correct position. Installed two new upper rack rail end cap stops. The new end caps were different from the old ones, and the new wheels had shorter retaining arms than the old ones. Once observing the differences, the new parts fit properly and perfectly.
This repair was a snap. The parts, though not identical to the original, fit perfectly. I was able to snap both the Rack Slide Cap and the new wheel axle to the existing washer cage and the machine works great now. Thanks for the quick delivery and great website!
I installed new rollers and rack clips. The old ones had cracked and would not keep the rack in the tracks. I went to buy a new dishwasher which would have cost around $500. I bought $60 worth of parts although I probably could have just bought the clips for $15 and now the dishwasher is good to go! A real money saver.
My wife grabbed the upper rack as she fell backwards across the front of the open dishwasher. It broke her fall - she is fine thank goodness - but the roller slides broke and the rail was destroyed. The dishwasher repair was easy - just had to put new parts in place. The detail parts explosion helps in determining how all physically goes together. Everything works as good as new. I used the pliers to remove one of the old wheel axles that was attached to the basket.
Dishwasher rollers and other mechanical parts of plastic and rubber dry out and fail. A service call to an apppiiance repair person would have cost more than all the parts to repair the problem. Ordered them online on Sunday night, received them the following Wednesday, probably as fast as I could have had an appointment for a repairman. Changed out the parts in ten minutes and pocketed the change. $30 out of pocket instead of about $100, thanks to partselect.com.
Popped out Old Roller, put in new one, pushing it together with a pair of pliers. My only regret is that i didn't check the other side of the dishwasher... the other roller was broken also, and now i have to pay 5.95 shipping & handling for a .29 cent itemCheck all your rollers before you buy just one!!!!!
I thought the parts wouldn't be aailable. 10 minutes on the interner, easy check out, arrived UPS next day, popped off the old wheels according to the diagram and popped the new ones on.
First I removed the rail end caps on both sides of the rack with a screw driver. I removed the old roller slides and stud rollers. Then I easily snapped the roller slide in the roller stud and put it back on the slide. Placed the rail end caps. Done! All in 5 minutes.
Used diag wire cutters to remove temporary cable tie that I installed to make temp repair. Positioned redesigned GE OEM wheel axle on tray, snapped in place. Walked away after abt 1 min repair job.
