Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
The capacitor exploded, broke the plastic cover that held it to the body of the machine and blow itself clear of the wires
I removed the back access panel and what was left of the capacitor mounting device (the capacitor (or what was left of it) was laying against the access panel). I mounted the new capacitor which had a metal strap for mounting. I removed the small, black, wire mounting device that was still plugged in to the old capacitor and slipped the wires through that device. After reviewing how to reattach the wires (it turned out the polarity on my capacitor did not matter) I plugged the wires in using the wire mounting device. Once I closed it back up everything worked fine.

Hi Jay, Thank you for your question. If the washer will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the lid latch assembly, the lid latch, the shift actuator, the capacitor, the bezel and the drive belt. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My washer will not spin out the clothes. I can get it to spin in the manual tests, but will not do it in the cycle.I have replaced the circuit board, latch, lid switch, pump and shift actuator. i don't smell any burnt smells, and i'm pretty sure the belt is okay.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your question. It sounds like you may want to check your actual gearcase for being the issue. If that part is fine then it might be your motor. Good luck with your repair.

My washer won’t spin but it washes and drains I checked the shift actuator, the lid latch and the capacitor. Only the capacitor won’t read my volt meter! Do you think this is the problem?

Hi Burton, Thank you for your question. If the multimeter reading stays at zero and does not move at all, then this indicates the capacitor is not working and it needs to be replaced. If the meter reading shows a very low resistance, the capacitor has shorted out. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Our washer does not agitate, could the synchronous motor. And or the capacitor? Thank you

Hello and thank you for writing. It certainly sounds like it could be a faulty washer drive pulley PS10057144 and/or a possible loose or a faulty belt PS11747978, also check the washer PS11742027 for the agitator retainer bolt you should check the part(s) for signs of damage and replace the part(s) as needed. These are the parts we would suggest to check first for these symptoms. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Hello Walter, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: water inlet valve, lid switch, shift actuator, and main control board with water level switch. You can test the parts with a multimeter. Hope this helps!

The washer won't spin, if i set it on drain & spin, it drains but i don't see the motor trying to spin. I have already replaced the motor & spin actuator with no change, belt is fine. I did notice a burning smell once & occassionaly the lid lock light flashes. I'm going to change the lid lock sensor next but could the capacitor be related as well?

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your question. We would recommend replacing the clutch, pulley assembly at this point. The clutch assembly is mounted on the drive shaft on the bottom of your washer. You may need to replace the clutch assembly if the splines on the clutch assembly are stripped and the washer is making noise, or if you are having problems with the wash and spin cycles. You will need to access the bottom of the washer for this repair. It is easiest to if you disconnect your washer from both the water and power source, and lay it on its back. The clutch assembly contains 6 parts, and all are included with the kit. It is also important to change out the entire assembly, rather than individual pieces. If the clutch is in good condition the issue could be with the gear case, or motor. I hope this helps!
