When you say replace the plug from the old board, I do not follow? I plugged in all 8 wire connections into the new board.
For model number GFDR480EF0WW
Hi Shawn,
Thank you for your question. When you removed the old PCB board and replaced it with the new one, did you attach all the wires to it. If there is a wire that was missed and not attached to the new board, it may cause the symptoms you mentioned in your previous question to us. Make sure that all the wires are connected to the board correctly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dryer mother board powers on and i can cycle through all of the options, but when i push the start button it shuts off completely for about 4 seconds and then comes back on. The dryer doesn’t start. When i tried getting the service error code it gives me a 005 eeprom error. It will not let me run tests and t7, t8 or t13. Is the motherboard the only part that could cause this issue?
For model number Gfdr485ef0rr
Hello Jason, thank you for your question. Yes, this does sound like the main board issue. You can test the thermostats to be sure they have continuity, just in case the issue is one of them. Sometimes if a thermostat or fuse is blown the unit will not start. I hope this helps!

i have replaced the main control board, both thermistors and the thermostats. i still get the same eprom error 005. what else could be causing the problem?
For model number Gfdr485ef0rr
Hello Jason, thank you for inquiring. Try cutting the power to the dryer for five minutes as this may reset the Main Control Board. If the error code comes back, then you will need to replace the it. The Main Control Board for model GFDR485EF0RR is PS11700884.

I just replaced the pcb board with part # weo4x23220. Turned the power on and all i get is flashing lights?? does it need to be reset or something??
For model number gfdr480efoww
Hi Shawn, Look on you old control to see if you left the plug in the old control and if so take it and place it on your new control. This should correct the problem. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!

Yes i reconnected every connection snug, still only get flashing lights,
For model number gfdr480ef0ww
Hi Shawn, there is a plug on the old control that tells the control board which model the control board is connected to. If you are sure that you reconnected this plug then i would contact the manufacturer directly for further assistance. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
