I believe the part i need is the boot seal. It is moldy and causing black stains on our clothes if they come in contact with the seal when being removed. Is this the correct part to replace?

There is the rubber seal as you go into the washer. It goes all the way around the opening and it seals the door. Ours is leaking water and has black mold on it. What is this seal and can it be replaced.

Hello Donald, thank you for your question. The front tub gasket, or bellow, as its called on our site is part number 134728400. The repair is a fairly simple process. Unfortunately, we do not have an installation video for this exact part right now. You can find some video's on YouTube that will give you some pointers on replacing that part. I hope this helps!

Does the boot seal come with instructions for removal of the existing and installation of the new one?

Hi Kim,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the manufacturer does not always give installation instructions with their parts. To get to that boot seal, you will have to first remove your top panel. Then you will have to remove your control panel. Make sure to unplug your board from the wiring harness. You would then remove your lower kick plate. Once you have removed both of those parts you can then remove your whole front panel and that will give you access to the bellow. Good luck with your repair.
