Thank you for your question. Before you begin your repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. To replace the noise filter in your microwave, you will first need to remove it from the cabinet. Have an assistant support the microwave while you unthread the mounting screws securing the microwave to the cabinet. You will then need to carefully tilt the cabinet down and thread the power cord through the opening. Lift the microwave off of the mounting bracket and place it on a sturdy surface with a towel or blanket under it. Use a Philips head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the grille. With the screws removed, open the microwave door and then slide the grill to the left and lift it up to remove it. Remove the glass tray and turntable if they are still in the microwave. Close the door and place the microwave on its back panel and then unthread the screws securing the bottom panel. Then disconnect the wire harness and release the wires from the twist retainer to allow you to remove the bottom panel. Put the microwave back into an upright position and unthread the screws securing the cabinet. You will need to use a T20 tamper proof Torx bits screwdriver to remove the screws on the left or right sides. Then carefully remove the cabinet. To avoid injury, you will need to release the electrical charge in the capacitor with a pair of needle nose pliers. Use pliers that have an insulated handle and touch both terminals at the same time. Be careful not to touch the metal portion of the pliers. Once the charge has been released, use the needle nose pliers to squeeze the tabs to release the noise filter from the mounting pins. Next, remove the screws securing the grounding wire to the frame. Note the orientation of the wires attached to the board. Then depress the locking tabs to release the wires. You can now install the new noise filter by attaching the wires to the correct terminals. Then align the filter on the mounting pins and snap it into place. Then secure the grounding wire to the frame and make sure the power cord is secured in the bracket. Then reinstall the cabinet and make sure the cabinet lines up with the tabs on the microwave and secure it with the screws. Then rest the microwave on its back panel. Reconnect the bottom panel by first installing the wire harness and securing the wires in the twist retainer. Then secure the bottom panel with the screws. Put the microwave back in its upright position. Make sure the charcoal filter is properly aligned and then replace the grill by inserting the tabs in the frame and then slide the grill to the right. Then rethread the mounting screws. Reinstall the microwave on the mounting bracket and thread the power cord through the opening in the cabinet and then the secure the microwave with the mounting screws. Plug the microwave back in and it should now work for you. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
