flat beater replacement
I was very sad I was unable to receive the beater I really wanted and had to settle for the white one again. After multiple uses the white one does not hold the coating this is why I wanted the silver paddle in the first place. Personally I think the company should replace the white paddle. I have noted on Facebook lately that other users have had same problem with the product. At the cost of this mixer and the replacement of its parts for defect I think it is poor customer service for us having to replace parts at an additional cost let alone someone getting sick for the coating coming off in our baked goods.

The white enamel coating was breaking off the mixer beater. There was a scrapimg noise when the beater was in motion.
I simply inserted the new beater into the mixer to see if it scraped the sides of the bowl. It fit perfectly and didn't scrape the bowl like the old one did.

Mixer stop rotating
Replace went good used the online video, my husband doesn't usually use any help but said the video helped him. Now my mixer works perfect. Also the price and shipping time was awesome.
The coating was chipping off of the original Flat Beater

I just purchased a new part as the old beater (not that old) no longer fit into the mixer and the paint was chipping. Not sure why it had happened. Is it dishwasher safe?

Hello Ronit, thank you for contacting us. I have heard this before, from people putting them in the dishwasher. I would recommend hand washing those parts, they are powder coated and that can start to come off in the dishwasher. Hope this helps!

I need a replacement beater. Most seem to be for tilt head mixers. Will this one work with my mixer?Does this come in a stainless version or in a silicon version? the paint chipped from my beater and i am not comfortable using it.
i purchased the mixer on april 25, 2007. i probably only use it 6 or 7 times a year, so the failure of the beater is disappointing.

In reference to a kitchen aid heavy duty mixer i am missing the paddle. I have the wire whip and dough hook. The model number above is the one one the bottom of the mixer. I enter the model number and your site gives me a list of model numbers close to mine, but not the one. The serial number is wm0323494. This is an old mixer and it works great! My father bought this mixer back in the late 60's or early 70's. Can i get the paddle for this one? Thank you~~~cait needham
