Water leaking from water valve/bracket assembly
Unplug fridge. Remove cover panel. Remove screw holding old assembly. Disconnect electric connections and reconnect to new unit. Disconnect water connections and reconnect to new unit- except for the main water line to the fridge, these are simple pressure connections and no tools are needed for this step. my ice maker quit working
I watched the video from the link that was sent to me with the shipping notice. It was very easy to understand. I had no trouble at all. I'm 75 years old woman, however, and I can fix about anything. Don't be afraid to fix appliances yourself if you feel you have the knowledge.

Old Icemaker Stopped Making Ice
Instructions that came with the part were useless. I would have created new problems if I had attempted to follow the instructions. However, once I had the old part removed and put it beside the new part, required repair process was obvious, easy and quick. Frig now makes ice better than it ever did.

Leaking water at water valve assembly
Ordered New water vave assembly. Received it in two days. Shut off water to water supply line. Removed old water assembly valve, by by removing one screw that hedt it in place, cut tubeing at base of water valve, unpluged electricla connections and removed old valve. Placed tubeing in new valve as I cut them and according to color coding, also connected electrical harness one at a time as I disconnected then. reconnected main water line and turned on water and everything worked just fine about 20 minutes.

no water out of the water dispenser
That happened before, it was the module time delay, had a spare so i changed, still no water out,i checked the water supply, changed filters, determined the water valve was not opening, so i ordered the water valve from partselect.GE and partselect should sell the water valve replacement part with the nuts and sleeve, because the threads count on the pipes out of the water valve are not standard sae 20 threads per inch, hard to find in local hardware.

Icemaker does not make ice
I'm a housewife in her late 40's. Before ordering the part, I watched your video on how to remove and install the new icemaker. First I unplugged the refrigerator. After a few minutes, I unplugged the icemaker and unscrewed it. I lifted it a bit and removed it. I did not use the icecup that comes with the part. Instead I removed the one from the old part and inserted it to the new one. Then I plugged in the new icemaker, placed it inside so as to match the holes and screwed it in. YES, it was that simple. It took me less than 10 minutes to do this. I saved myself over $100!!
