No ice!
Literally took out one screw and a wiring harness. Removed the old plastic piece off of the old ice maker and put on the new one.Installed new ice maker with the one screw and plugged the wiring back in.DONE!

no water from dispenser/ice maker ok
water coils were frozen.removed line connections & placed hot wrags on coils while slowing applying air pressure to break free the ice.

The frig was not cooling in main section or freezer
I ordered 3 temperature Sensors Part#PS304103 and viewed the video. Got there, opened the frig. and it looked totally different and no place in any part of this frig. that took these sensors as viewed on the video. Totally baffled why these parts were listed for this frig. there was no place in this frig that would access for these parts. Serial # was HR443071.Maybe this model is out of date for these parts. Trying to find someone who can repair it. Any ideas???Purchased this GE in 2008. Model #is GSS25WSTFSS Thanks, for your help. JIM

We needed a new water filter.
We received the part just a few days after ordering, unscrewed the old filter by hand, and installed the new filter the same way.

Ice dispnser worked intermitently. My diagnosis led me to the freezer door light switch. Switch operated the light but stopped the ice dispenser. After replacing the switch the dispenser operates every time now. problem solved.
Little difficult getting the switch out, had to pry wth some force. New installation was real easy.

Water feature not working
1. Unplug refrigerator 2. Remove cover from bottom rear of refrigerator 3. Remove screw from damaged part 4. Transfer over water lines to new part and reinstall 5. Plug refrigerator and test 6. Replace bottom rear cover 7. Move refrigerator back into position

Ice maker- wouldn't release cubes only crushed ice.
Really easy- turned off ice maker, powered down appliance briefly. Removed ice maker by removing 3 screws with 1/4 nut driver. Unplugged ice maker from power supply. Removed and replaced solenoid arm assembly. Reversed steps and whammy - ice cubes dropped.

Was not making ice

The solenoid was broken-water dispenser would not work
Removed the dispenser panel and replaced-less than 10 min and a savings of $300.00 for a service call.

coil frosting up and refridgerator section was not cooling
took out shelves and removed the back plate my removing 2 screws with a nutdriver.removed the old defrost timer and defrost heater which was really easy.then installed the new ones.the video i watched on the website was really helpfull.

failed light switch
I started removing the switch by prying on the right side with a screwdriver, when it emerged enough I used pliers to finish removing it. I then unpluged rhe wires from the bad switch and pluged them on the new switch and "poped" it into the hole.
