Lower Sprayarm Nut

This spray arm nut is used in dishwashers and works as the retaining nut for the lower dishwasher spray arm. The nut makes sure the lower spray arm is secured to the pump housing. If your spray arm is coming off, or your nut is lost or damaged, replacing the part can be a solution to your problem. Remember to unplug dishwasher from power source and disconnect the water supply before you begin this installation. Door Gasket - Gray

This gasket wraps around the sides and top of the dishwasher door and helps seal the door when it is closed to prevent water from leaking from the dishwasher during the washing cycle. If your dishwasher is leaking water, first inspect the seal for food particles near the bottom and sides, and remove it. A buildup can stop the door from closing properly and keeping a tight seal. Check the door gasket for tears, cuts, or wear. If the gasket is damaged, you will need to replace it. Before starting the repair, make sure to disconnect the power to the dishwasher.

The rubber washer is a part which is specific to dishwashers and should not be substituted by a similar part. It works with the heating element to seal the receptacle opening where the heating element is attached. The rubber washer is used to prevent water leaking from your dishwasher during its cycle. Before making any repairs to your dishwasher make sure that you disconnect the power by finding the breaker for the dishwasher, and turning it off. The tools you will need to complete this repair include an adjustable wrench, and a 1/4 inch nut driver. This specific rubber washer is sold individually.

Removed spray arm thumb nut. Removed spray arm. replaced worn and broken earings and re-assembled in reverse order. Would have done the repair a lot sooner if I had known that PartsSelect was just a few miles up the highway. read more

Installed new door seal. Dishwasher still leaked. Googled the model number and then cleaned the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher, still leaked.
Verified that manifold bearing was not work. It was OK.
