Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

dryer would not start
Removed the top of the dryer, that took some time to find the right screws to unscrew, but once we found them,we unplugged the switch and installed the new one Kept out fingers crossed that this would fix the problem..and it did. Everything is back to normal and I have some money in my pocket too boot. The diagrams of the parts to order were clear, it was a no brainer.

broken belt
remove heater element door, remove access door to fan motor, remove top panel, remove 8 screws (T-20 driver)securing the back panel, pull the drum away from the front access seal together with the rear panel. from the top loop the new belt around the drum and fit the drum back over the front seal, secure the rear panel with the 8 screws. slide the belt down the drum OD to the location where the belt should ride. the difficult part is to stretch the new belt to fit it over the motor's drive pulley. for that I used a 20" long 1/2" ID electrical conduit; introduced trough the belt and stick on the motor's pulley then apply force to the belt to push toward the motor rotating the conduit in the same time; moving and stretching the belt toward the motor's pulley until it will snap in place, remove the conduit, then verify if the belt will ride on location by rotating the drum; after that, close the access doors and mount the top panel back to place. under power verify if it working right.
