Door Catch Kit

This is a door catch kit, and it is designed for use with your dryer. On your appliance you will find both a strike and a catch, these two parts work together to keep your dryer door closed. This kit includes two strikes, three catches, and a set of instructions. Each of the door catches included have a different tension. Igniter Kit

If your dryer will not heat, takes too long to dry, or does not provide enough heat, you might want to replace your igniter kit. This silicone carbide igniter with ceramic holder kit includes the 3-inch flat igniter, bracket, 4-inch wire leads, and the plug. The kit can replace both round and flat igniters and is used for many gas clothes dryers. Be sure to disconnect the power source from your dryer before you do this repair. The igniter is located within the burner assembly, so you will require tools to complete the repair. You will need a putty knife, a small flat blade screwdriver, a 5/16 nut driver and a 5/16 socket with a ratchet.

Radiant Flame Sensor

If your gas dryer is not heating up or igniting, then replacing the flame sensor, located in the burner assembly, could solve it. This part senses heat from the igniter to monitor if it is hot enough to ignite gas to light the burner. Once the igniter is hot enough it will open the valve and allow gas to flow. This is a safety mechanism to prevent dangerous levels of gas from building up. To repair, the main top of the dryer should be lifted, as well as the front panel to access the component. This flame sensor assembly is made of both plastic and metal.

Dryer Drum Seal with Adhesive

This drum seal with a silicone rubber adhesive is used in dryers. This part seals the drum to make sure air does not escape from the dryer. If your dryer is making loud noises, is not producing enough heat, or no heat at all, or there are marks left on your clothes, replacing the seal on your dryer can solve the problem. The tools needed for this installation project are: 1/4 inch nut driver, Phillips screwdriver, small flat blade screwdriver, and putty knife. Dryer was working, but no heat.

First I unplugged the dryer, then removed the back panel, this exposed most all of the wiring and I could see the heater coils.
Not knowing what the problem was I started looking at the coils and could not see any broken parts.

Cleaning the lint out of the whole machine took quite a bit of time--it was everywhere. Underneath the lint trap was a collection that ultimately ruined the thermal fuse where it restricted the air flow considerably.

Ascertaining the problem was the most time consuming part.

Received your parts, Popped them both right into place, Even though only one side needed to be replaced, I wanted them to match up. It was amazing how easy this was. My husband was quite impressed I had ordered these rather then look for either a new or used dryer from some other source. read more
