Washer does not drain and spin as it should. I replaced the belt this morning, but it sounds to me like there is a problem with the timer starting the spin cycle as it should.

Thank you for your question. If the washer is not draining or spinning, the issue is likely the lid switch and you will need to test it with a multi-meter to see if it is working correctly. Set your multi-meter to Rx1, and touch the probes to the terminals. You are testing for continuity and should receive a reading of zero.
