This hi-limit thermostat acts as a safety mechanism that keeps the dryer from overheating. With this thermostat, a dryer's heating element will cut out if the internal temperature reaches 260 degrees Fahrenheit. The element will kick back in when the temperature drops to 190 degrees Fahrenheit - the differential of 70 degrees.
This wire receives, but resists, a controlled electric current and as a result, the wire heats up. The heat produced is used to dry the clothes in your dryer.
The timer controls most of the operations of the washer: water level, tub filling and emptying, length of cycles, and cycle setting sequences.
This bracket is used on the drum bearing.
