WRS6R3EW1 Westinghouse Refrigerator - Instructions

After receiving the parts, I clamped on the connector ends, and put on the shrink tubes. Unplug frig, took out the shelves (4) screws, unscrewed back panel (4) screws. Took old thermostat off tube, clipped (2)wires on old thermostat, splice wires, clamped connector on old wires, moved up shrink tubes, and used a heat gun to shrink the wires. Put new thermostat on the tube the old one came off of, put panel, and the shelves back. Pugged frig in. Works great!

Ordered the new part. The pictures online were most helpful. Just compare the old part to the picture, place the order, wait two days, receive the package, open it and slide the new part in place. Very easy.

first turn power off (i just tripped breaker but you can unplug unit. Next remove water and ice base tray this piece simply slides straight out. Now remove the control panel bezel by first removing 3 #2 philps head screw along base of bezel, unplug bezel/control panel from actuator by removing 12pin connector set control panel/bezel aside for now. next remove 3 screw securing ice and water dispenser, remove 4pin electrical connector on lower left side. now aqloow unit to hang by water supply tube . rotate unit so that you have a top view. visually locate and remove the two metal keeper that hold the dispenser actuator in place again there are 3 philips head screws holding these tabs down 2 on one tab and one on the other remove and discard old/broken tab. install new actuator and reverse the removal process and your done the whole job takes about 15-20 miniutes unless you have to repair any rusty area that can form around face of refrigerator face where bezel mounts.

The repair literally to 5 minutes. Remove one shelf, slide new one in. Simple repair.

Wiped down the new shelves; popped them in place; done in about 1 minute each. Delivery was as expected; watched progress of packages on the Fed Ex site. Delivered as promised.

I followed the instructions by the repairman via the QT movie. It was one of the easiest jobs I've ever done. The repairman's method and the photography was perfect.

The part was delivered the next day, but I had ordered the wrong part. I sent it back and they made it really easy to return it.

Just ordered a new door bin replacement and installed it.

Removed old water pump and cut off ends of all lines. Plugged them into each water inlet/outlet and turned it on. Instant water to dispenser but took about 6 hours for ice maker to get water. Had to prime the ice maker. Works great and saved a lot of money ordering parts from you. Thanks.

got the new one replased it and it was easy plus im certified in majjor apliences

just put it in the old hole. the hard part was getting the old one out. you have to poke the center piece in to remove. otherwise you will break your fridge. then you have to to pull the center piece out before you put new in.

husband did it took only a few min part was easy to find

Easy to assemble after cutting original water line fittings off. Use sharp knife to keep from damaging end of water lines.

take of the tray & take parts out & installed the new ones

Removed the nuts on top - to loosen the door. Lifted the door off the hinge. Took out old part, put in new one, reinserted door, replaced nuts.
