refrigerator ice maker was not making ice, water on floor
used videos and followed instructions to repair. The water inlet valve was first changed because no ice was being made. Changed ice maker due to no cycle and no sound came from it. The water filter was then changed due to length of time since last changed. Plugged up refrigerator and turned water back on and within 2 hours we had ice again.

When the ice maker was filling the ice tray with water, the water would come out the water dispenser at the same time.
First I watched the PartSelect installation video. Then unplugged the power and shut off the water valve on the wall. I used a 1/4" nut driver and removed (4) screws on the back bottom cover of the refrigerator and removed the cover. I removed the (2) mounting screws on the back lower right side of the refrigerator and removed the triple water valve assembly. I then marked the (4) water lines and (3) solenoid connectors with numbers, to make sure they get connected back in the same place, and then I removed them. I used a retractable blade knife to cut the ends of the water lines perpendicular. I pushed the (4) water lines into the valve holes and plugged the solenoid connectors back onto the new triple valve assembly. I mounted the new triple valve, put the back cover on, turned on the water, checked for water leaks. There were no leaks. Then I plugged in the power and waited for it to fill up the ice tray. It works perfectly now ! And it was really easy ! Thank You PartSelect for making this repair easy for me.

Wiring harness too thick to fit where the instructions told me to put it.
After trying several times to fit the wiring harness beside the ice maker without any success, I folded the wiring harness behind the ice maker. Between it and the back of the freezer.

broken crisper drawer support
1. Punched the little circle bolt at the top of the drawer support all the way through the refrigerator wall using a hammer and awl. Removed the remainder of the old drawer support. 2. Previous two small alignment prongs were stuck into the alignment holes, so I had to snap off the alignment prongs on the new drawer supports with pliers to make the supports fit flush with the fridge wall. 3. Stuck new drawer supports into holes in the fridge wall and hammered in circle bolts with hammer.

Through the door water slow
Turn off the ice maker. You don't need to turn off the water. Find the water filter in the upper right corner of the refrigerator. It's the round thing with a shallow round depression in the center. Push in on the center and release. The old filter partially pops out. Remove it.and throw it away. Insert new filter and push until it locks in place. Run water through the new filter until it runs clear.

Frige and freezer not cooling
I should have ordered start kit instead of start capacitor. The start cap astir did not fix problem so I ordered kit. Compasator comes as part of kit. Followed enclosed instructions. Cut existing wires and reconnected new wiring. Simple as that. It's a plug in item. Now worried it may be working to good. Freezer down to 10 deg. Watching to see if compressor is running to long. Seems ok lol. Wife hates me now. She wanted new frige.
