Replaced Water Inlet Valve
All instructions included on this site are good. I would add only one thing to them. When removing the 4 water lines from the old unit be sure to pull up on the white rings while you pull down on the water lines. All else is a snap.

Fridge was freezing items & freezer was not freezing items
It was simple... After paying $280 for a repair man to come out and install some unnecessary part to the fridge when I told him "everything on the Internet points to a thermostat repair." He disagreed, fixed the fridge and said the freezer would work more efficiently now. It didn't, so I bought a new fridge/freezer, put the old one in the basement. I ordered the thermostat (under $20), put it in, and now (knock on wood), works great and I have a beer fridge for the man cave

The partition between the doors of the refridgerator was hot and the fan that cools the condensor and the coils was not working.
I replaced the condenser fan motor, but first I bought a brush to clean the coils. I first unplugged the fridge and took off the back panel. I located the fan motor and noticed how dusty it was back there. All the dust dirt and pet hair can accumulate making the motor work harder and overheat. I cleaned the coils with the coil brush and a shop vac. Once I cleaned it, I started to take off the three screws that held the fan motor suspended, its important that you move the fridge enough so you have adequate room to work. I unplugged the motor and finished removing the screws. When I removed the motor I was upset when I compared it to the motor I was sent because it looked physically different. The motor I removed had a plug that was integrated in the motor, but the one I received had a plug that pigtailed outside the motor. I called PartSelect and told them they sent me the wrong motor. The lady that I spoke with was very friendly and helpful, and after looking up my part # she assured me that it was the right part. Next I had to remove the fan from my old motor, the nut that held the fan on looked like a clip, but it screwed off using open pliers.I removed the fan and put it on the other motor, using the parts supplied. Before I installed the motor I screwed the three screws in and out of the three screws holes to make the screws go in easier during instalation. I installed the fan motor using the three screws supplied, and once it was secure I spun the fan with my finger, making sure the fan spun freely and installed the plug to the fan. I then plugged in the fridge to make sure the fan was working, and replaced the back panel. Hope this helps you out, good luck.

No ice was being dispensed
I removed the cover on the door to access the levers that dispensed the water and ice. I was able to pull the assembly out far enough to remove the damaged part and install the new one. It was fairly easy because i have small hands and did not need to pull the assembly out too far. Otherwise it went fairly smooth and was done in no time. The fact that I am a woman had no bearing other than the small hands part. My husband could not have changed the part for that reason. The ease in changing the part saved us quite a bit of money by not having to call a repairman. the only authorized repairman is about 40 miles away and with mileage plus installation it would have cost a fortune and being on a fixed income ease of part installation is great for us older people. thanks for great product.
