Purchased switch and socket, not sure which had failed. Moved all frozen food to refrigerator, turned off breaker. Used nutdriver to remove two screws holding box containing switch and socket. Removed old switch and socket. Removal was slightly difficult since cabling came off both sides of the box. Installed new switch and socket and bulb. Plasticglides broke that hold the deli drawer up
Due to age and excessive use, the plastic glides that are located on the underside of each refrigerator rack were either badly cracked or broken. It was obvious that the drawer was going to let go soon unless I fixed it. I called the local appliance in CT where I live and asked them for a price to get me the parts(if still available) and what the price was. After 20 mins. on phone trying to make him understand what I needed, he finally found the parts and told me they would take about a week to get and cost $150+ tax. I was shocked and told him I'd call him back. I went online and found PartsSelect.Com and the woman was extremely helpful and told me the parts were in stock and would cost me $56.00(incl frt.) and NO tax. I gave her my credit card no. and the parts shipped that day and I had them in 2-days. It then took me about 20 mins. to remove the old broke glides and I now have a refrigerator that looks and acts like new!!! Pays to shop and I can't say enough about PartsSelect.

Refrigerator was not cooling
Remove 4 screws that hold up overhead controls, this is also the part that holds the light. Unplug the timer and replace. Super simple and runs great now. After you plug it in it may take a few minutes to kick on the compressor but it will. Also I was pleased it was a factory Frigidare part. Price was right.
