WRS26MR4JB4 Crosley Refrigerator - Instructions

Because of the design of the support, this could have been a difficult job. However, with the video that was provided when I selected the part, it was not a problem. All you have to do is knock the center pin through the support and remove the old support. Pull the pin out of the wall of the unit and push the new support in and drive the new pin in until it is flush. That's it!

Unload shelve, took out, replaced done.

Once the part arrived, we followed directions to remove the refrigerator door. We removed the hinge cover which was a two-piece topping on the refrigerator. We then were able to remove the door and replace the lower Hinge Bearing. We put the door back on, replaced the cover and the door now opens and closes quietly and smoothly. We are senior citizens and not particularly "handy"....figured we saved ourselves $100. or so. Good deal.

Repair was easy and fast. Just slide the cover to the back and snap the front, less than 10 seconds and it fits perfectly.

Three very easy to get to 5/16" x 3/8" bolts to remove cover and mount. Elbows were tooless push to release type. Elbows removed in seconds from old housing. Elbows simply pushed on to nipples of new housing. Same three bolts to remount and done!

It was so easy, i did it myself, also the help of a you tube video from Partselect. I was so proud of myself even though it only too less than 15 minutes to fix. Now no more wet towels laying around. thanks so much for your help.

Emptied broken lower shelf and lifted to remove. Aligned new shelf and pulled down into place. Replaced our food items. EASY! The BEST PART was dealing with PartSelect. Easy to find what I needed. Easy, secure payment methods and SUPER FAST shipping. I'd buy here again. I've bookmarked the site.

Ordering replacement parts was easy! Expected a simple pull out old plug, insert new plug.... Not sure if it comes from factory like this or if this had been previously repaired poorly, but the broken plug was heavily glued in place. Took some serious finess work to remove without serious damage. Once out, it was simple plug in

After the original hinge fell apart, I clicked on my bookmarked Part Select www. I simply typed in the model number and followed the instruction straight to a Parts diagram. Both parts I needed were detailed in a scale picture, and were extremely easy to purchase. Repair as illustrated was right on. Repair was easy. No problem except still no water for ice or drinking. The valve was not the problem. Filter was replaced prior to valve replacement. Must be a electric switch some where. 3 Yrs ago I have replaced the water activation plastic lever for drinking which was a bit difficult and it turned out ok.

Pryed the old loose catch is on the bottom used a common screw driver.pulled the two wires off reversed the procedeure to put the new switch in.took about 5 minutes.

Installed new support. I placed the new one in the hole provided and taped in the locking peg with a small hammer. The total installation took about three minutes thanks to the excellent video provided on the web site. Thanks
