wanted to change features
Fridge came ice maker assy configured with an ice cream shelf to maximize space. I found this annoying becuase it blocked access to the ice maker controls and ice bin, which is useful for bulk access even thought there's a door front dispenser for ice. I recognized parts diagrams for a similar model and corrctly assumed they'd fit. So for $30 and an easy change I have the feature I wanted. Pretty cool.

Crisper Cover support had broken
I watched your video on how to do the procedure and followed it, step-by-step. It worked like a charm. When I took the crisper drawer and runner out of the refrigerator, I noticed that the lower drawer support had broken as well. So, I have ordered 4 to have a few on hand and will repeat the process when my new order arrives. I'm very pleased! Thank you very much.

Push-down lever on ice actuator broke off
(1) Pull out drip tray. (2) Remove three screws holding in front panel. Pull out panel. (3) Unplug wiring harness and lay front panel aside. (4) Remove three screws holding in a long, narrow circuit board. (5) Unplug wiring harness at left end of board. (6) Pull unit forward so you can see the ice actuator. Loosen (do not remove) screws holding small metal plates where ice actuator pivots. Move left plate (single screw) out of way and remove actuator. (7) Insert new actuator. Be careful that gear on right side meshes with gear on black rubber door that holds ice in. (8) Reverse process to reinstall parts.

Refrigarator & freezer were not working
We took out the air damper and replaced the control with the one we purchased. It would probably work easier but it works and it saved us a lot of money not having to hire someone to come out and replace it. The refrigerator should be a little cooler but is within range therefore we hope it continues to be ok.

Everything in the refrigerator side was freezing.
The defrost thermostat kit is located in the freezer side of the refrigertor. I turned off the electrical breaker for the refrigerator. I began the project by removing all the frozen food on the lower half of the freezer. I removed the racks and 3 rails on both sides using a cordless drill with a 1/4" socket and located panel. The panel had 4 1/4" screws holding it to the back of the freezer. I removed all screws and the panel came out easy. I located the defrost thermostat and with some wire cutters, I cut the wires. I connected the the new defrost thermostat with wire connectors and reattached it to the copper tube I removed it from. I put the panel back on along with the side rails and racks.. This project was very easy.
