Very simple. A few screws removed, disconnected a few wires, reattached the wires, put back the screws all without a single cuss word

I have only two things to add to the other repair stories on this site: (1) Unlike the ribbon cables inside desktop computers, the ribbon cable on this range is entirely separate from the connector, which is permanently attached to the clock assembly. There are clips on the top of the connector at each end. Push them in and raise them gently to release the ribbon cable. (2) There are two Molex connectors attached to the clock assembly. The pins for one of them were bent on the new clock assembly I received. Before installing it, I spent some time gently coaxing those pins back into alignment. Use your fingernail, and be patient.

Clock light was out. Oven worked but it was a guess that I could not see the temp

Cut of electricity. Opened the oven door and removed some screw that were over the door that let a plate be removed. Then that let the part drop down that was holding the clock. I removed 2 screws that was holding the clock in place, unplugged the 3 connectors that feed the clock, attached the 2 screws back in that held the clock, put the part back up in place, added the plate and was done. Turned the power back on. I was delighted when I saw the clock light on. Easy to install.

unscrewed the top face plate assembly disconnect 2 wire harnesses 4 screws to release display clock 1 wire harness and then reverse order

First I took the screws off of the top hood which can be found right underneatch, this allowed me to access the panel bolts and unscreww them. We then got it far enough so that we could easily replace the old with the new and plug things back in and we were good to go. I am not sure but we must have save hundreds of dollars in a repairman.. This website is awesome..

Clock Assembly very dim, hard to read

Remove four screws behind control knobs. Remove four hex nuts under control panel (open oven door to locate). Pull control panel down and out. Remove two hex nuts holding clock assembly. Remove three wire connectors on the old clock assembly and carefully insert on new clock assembly. Reverse instructions to re-assemble. It's a breeze to do! Took longer to get my tool box than the time it took to replace the clock assembly.

As described by many others before. Turned off the power at the circuit breaker panel for the house. Unscrewed the front panel, disconnected the three connections to the old assembly and unscrewed the assembly.

Cleaned a few pieces then screwed in an connected the new assembly, put it all back together, turned on the power, said a prayer and IT WORKED!

Clock and oven display quit working.

Turn off breaker to stove. Open oven door and remove screws up under display. Slide display down and tip top edge forward so you can see the back side. Remove 2 screws holding digital display and disconnect 3 wiring plugs. One of them is a ribon connector and you must squeeze it to make the front edge rise up to disconnet the ribbon and again when putting new part in. Reverse the proceedure. It took my husband 10 min to replace the part. Being able to read how others had done it was invaluable.

Character display on the clock gradually began to fade and finally went out completely.

I first turned the power off to the stove at the junction box. Removed the control panel that contained the clock assembly by removing 4 phillips head screws. While my wife held the control panel, I disconnected the two pin connectors and one ribbon connector attached to the clock. I then removed the two phillips screws holding the clock assembly in place. To disconnect the ribbon connector, press the release buttons on the side in and the center loosens and pulls out, releasing the ribbon. There are two plastic tabs that fit into two guide holes on the ribbon. The best part of this is that 6 months ago, two number keys and the timer button had quit functioning and I thought I was going to have to replace the touch panel also. Apparently it was a problem with the circuit board on the clock assembly because everything works now! My ife is very happy!

Once the display became too dim to read, I removed the front panel to determine how to access the piece and to check part numbers so that I could order the proper piece. Once the part arrived, being familiar with the disassembly, it was simple enough to replace the part quickly. The part came out with two screws and the connections were standard electronic multi plug, making the replacement simple. When we turned the power to the unit on, it worked first time.

Display on Oven initially dimmed then went blank

I removed the three screws that was on top of the display enclosure. I then removed the four screws on the bottom of the display enclosure.

I unplugged the two connectors going to the old enclosure and removed the enclosure to the kitchen table. I then pressed the two locks on the ribbon cable lock and pulled up on the ribbon cable lock. I was unsure how to do this, but if you press the two tabs and slightly pull up on the lock, the ribbon cable will come free.

I then removed the four screws holding on the old display and put the new part in. Fastened with the four screws and connected the ribbon cable, squeezing tabs and raising the black lock, inserting ribbon cable and pressing down to lock in place.

I then took the enclosure to the oven, connected the other two sets of wires and mounted the enclosure with the three upper scres and four bottom screws. Took me about 15 minutes. My $148 PartsSelect part was $267 locally.

I looked at the schematic from PartsSelect, undid the 8 screws and replaced the clock assembly. I probably saved $200 on labor doing it myself. I had the clock repaired in 30 minutes.

Clock Assembly dimmed and died

I first turned off the circuit breaker for the range. I then I removed the four hex screws from the underside of the panel and then dropped the panel to expose the clock assembly. I then removed the two screws holding it in place, disconnected the cables and removed the old unit. I then reversed the procedure to install the new unit. I next turned on the circuit breaker restoring power to the range. And like magic I once again had light. I know I must have made by Daddy proud. I should have done it sooner. Thank you for making it so easy by sharing the "how to's" with me. It was especially helpful to have the model number.

Turn off power to the stove. Pop off the burner knobs and remove the screws attaching the controls to the front panel. Open the oven door and remove the four screws attaching the panel to the oven frame. The panel slides down giving easy access to the circuit board. Remove the two connectors and the ribbon cable attached to the board. There are small clips on the side of the ribbon cable connector that release the ribbon cable. Unscrew the board and install new board. Reattach the cables, put the panel back in place and attach. Reattach the burner controls to the panel, pop the knobs back on, power the stove back on, put on a pair of sunglasses to view the now blazingly bright display and admire your work.

The control paned lights went completely out over time.

Turned off power to stove
Removed control knobs and retaining screws under the knobs.
Opened oven door.
REmoved screws (4) holding the face plate to the stove.
pulled the panel downwards.
Unscreewed clock circuit board.
Removed connectors (3) (See Below)
NOTE the flat ribbon needs to be removed by pinching the ends of the black connector , liftiing and GENTLY pulling the ribbon out of the connector. The black connector remains on the circuit board.
When in stalling the ribbon, pinch the ends of the black connector and lift slightly, insert ribbon, then push down on the loose side of the connector until it snaps shut ,forming a tight connection.
