WHDSR316G0WW General Electric Washer - Instructions

First I removed the softener dispenser then I grabbed the agitator at the bottom and with a tug completely removed it. I took the new part out of the box and lowered it down over the hub in the bottom of the washer and gently pushed it until it snapped in place. Then I re-installed the old fabric softener dispenser and the job was complete.

I laid the washer on its front and removed enough screws to fold the bottom out enough to reach it. I used a wire tie to secure the belt to main pulley and slipped it on the drive. This would have been nearly impossible without the install tool as it stopped the belt from slipping off of the drive. It was simple to turn the pulley clockwise to walk the belt onto it. The whole repair took about 1/2 hour, would have been less if I had used the wire tie at the very beginning.

remove top panel, replace the compression clip, then replace'd the top panel, w/pliers, remove'd then plastic clip from the timer knob, remove old knob, install new one, DONE! I've never had a place that had all parts in stock, and at my door with-in 2 days! UN-BELEIVABLE! THANKS

I removed the plastic pin, took the knob off, put the new one on, then replaced the plastic pin. EXTREMELY easy.

I watched the video you provided and I could't believe how simple it was. I'm 67 yrs old and I just followed the video instructions.

took 4 screws off top of control panel, lifted it out, pulled off control knob, removed 2 electric wires ( unit was UNPLUGED )lifted up / pried up metal tab, turned counterclockwise 1/4 turn , removed plastic hose and walla ! reversed to installed. a piece of cake, less than a two beer job ! p.s, you tube has video's of this and helped alot. very very easy. now i'am taking down my kenmore elete he3t washer ( made in MEXICO of course ) for outer tub bearings. everything has to come out but i can do it ! woot woot !! and a special thanks to PartSelect for having the correct part.

Removed and replaced knob and dial by hand. Very simple.

Removed rear panel replaced switch had to put larger wire terminals on the switch was large we than the old index. Replaced panel put new knob re.pair complete

We couldn't get a repair to come out - were told to buy a new because it would cost too much to fix. I did not agree. I pulled the agitator off and discovered it was not working and the agitator coupler was spinning. I ordered both and put them in myself. My washer now worked like new! All for less than $100. The service guy wouldn't eve come out for less than $175 and that did not include parts!

Inside the appliance is an instruction sheet that describes replacing the part and followed it mostly. To improve your instructions, pictures with the instructions are much more effective and easier to understand.

remove 3 screws from control panel,disconnect hot and cold hoses, remove clamp and disconect hose from valve,unplug wire connectors, remove 2 screws and off it comes. Very easy

The trouble shooting suggested the problem and how to resolve by replacing so did an appliance retail parts place. Both suggested replacing the water level pressure switch. Took only 15 minutes to replace. Machine worked fine with 1st full washing. However, the 2nd full washing the washer would not spin. Went back to the trouble shooting on the computer. Someone suggested the tube from the washer tub to the pressure switch was stopped up with lint. Took hose off and blew into it. Lint came out the washer is working fine.
