Agitator directional cogs, otherwise known as dog ears, come in a package of four and are generally found in washers where the motor is connected directly to the washer. The agitator is what causes the thrusting motion in your washer. If you have noticed that your washer is not draining properly, is making unfamiliar noises, shaking, or is simply not washing properly, it could be due to faulty agitator directional cogs. They can be found by simply removing the softener dispenser and then removing the agitator cap. For this repair, you will need a 1/4 or a 3/8ths socket set, and needle nose pliers.

This kit includes two strikes, three catches, and a set of instructions. Each of the door catches included have a different tension. The suspension is meant to support the outer tub and keeps the tub steady during loads that could cause an unbalance. If this part breaks, is worn down, or perhaps has stretched out and lost its spring, it could cause the load to be off-balance which can cause excessive shaking, moving, noise and possibly leaks. For this repair, you will need a 1/4 nut driver, a putty knife, a flat blade screw driver, and a pair of needle nose pliers. Disconnect the power supply, fill hoses, and drain hose to give you safe and easy access (have a container nearby for water left in drain hose). This item is sold individually.
This dryer drum belt has 4 ribs and 3 grooves. This belt is 1/4 of an inch wide.
This is a drum support roller for a dryer. The part includes the drum roller only and does not include the tri rings. Although most dryers require two drum support rollers, this part is sold separately. It is recommended to check and replace both drum support rollers at the same time to ensure proper drum rotation and because they often wear at the same rate. The drum support roller holds the drum in the proper position while it spins on the support wheels. If rollers are worn out, they will cause the dryer to be noisy. This is a genuine replacement part.

If you notice that your dryer is noisy or will not tumble, you may need to replace the tri ring. This part is triangular, and is less than an inch in size. Tri rings can be found both on the idler pulley shaft, or on the rear drum roller shaft. In either case, you will need to remove the front panel of the dryer and the drum to access the part for repair. Once you have accessed the damaged tri ring, you will simply need to slip it off and replace it with the new one. This part is sold individually. Be sure to disconnect the power source from the dryer before you begin this repair.
