Handle was the wrong one
I needed a new handle for my dryer. I entered the model of my dryer and a picture popped up of the replacement handle for my model. It was not the correct handle . I have slits on my dryer door which the back of the handle needs to slip into. It was probably my fault because I didn't expect that there would be more than one handle for my dryer. i didn't look for any other handles. I will be calling today to set up a return.
