My shutter panels were broken/ripped

It was very easy, just slide the side panel frames out, slide the old shutters out, slide and secure the new ones in, and slide the entire frame back onto the AC unit and it was as good as new. read more

The old shutter panels were corroded (rubber rot) and fell apart, once expanded.

Very easily, I just removed the remainder of the accordion shaped panels from the frames, the slots on the a/c case exterior and in the process, slid out the frames completely from the a/c case exterior.
