When the washer is balancing the load or in the wash cycle when it is switching directions, i hear a loud metallic "clank". Its like a piece of metal is loose that is swinging free and smacks into something when the washer drum changes direction. Thing is it doesn't happen every time the drum switches direction just sometimes.

Hello Michael,
Thank you for your question. It is likely one of the damper rods that helps keep the drum level that could be loose and whacking the sides of the washer or the tub making the noise. we suggest checking the inside of the washer around the tub to see if its loose. We hope this helps!

Washer overfilling. Changed pressure switch. One week later same problem. Checked switch with ohm meter, no response. Should i replace again or do i have another problem that is damaging the switches?

Hello Lance,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest that its possible that the water valve under part PS4220860 for your model might be the reason the washer is overflowing, so we suggest checking the water valve with the meter as well before replacing any additional parts. We hope this helps.
Watched the video, procedure was simple and as depicted on the video. Started by using a wet shop Vac to the discharge hose and sucked as much dirty wash water out as possible. Removed the pump, and found the motor did not turn freely. Removed the motor (3 screws) and replaced the motor with new part. Reassembled the washer, everything wor

Checked the Filter /Cleanout and found it completely packed with MUD. Cleaned that out, and again disassembled the washer. The pump was removed and the remaining muddy gunk was cleaned from the impeller. The 3 drain lines that attached to the pump were inspected for blockage/obstruction and flushed of any muddy residue. Reassembly was quick and easy, and the washer has worked well since. I have no idea how the dirt got into the system with enough dirt to gunk up the system. Recommend keeping more frequent inspections of the cleanout trap.
Remove screws from back of washer. Use putty knife to dislodge spring clamps and lift top. Remove and replace rods one at a time. Put top back down and replace screws
NOTE: this repair requires OEM part number DC60-50003A and what was originally provided was 6021-001573. This is important as Part Select has this mixed in their Database and I made them aware.
Otherwise once you have the correct part the repair is simple. Open the top of the washer and remove the pulsator cap, there is a 10m

Do so by placing the screw driver in one of the groves by where the bolt was. Once this is removed that is where this part will be. I didn’t have to remove since mine was in pieces but it comes off/goes on counter clockwise. Repeat steps to put everything back together.
