The display was blank.
At first I thought the light was out on the display/clock and I could replace the bulb. Well I am old and not always with the digital age. There was no light bulb just a circuit board. I went on line to find the part. E-bay was the best price and I found this site; Part Select. What a great site! I read that other people had my same problem and how easy it was to fix it. It gave me the confidence to tear into the repair just hours before I was hosting a party with 75 people coming to my place. I was done in a snap. This site is the greatest!

clock readout had disappeared
First disconnected the power source, next removed four burner knobs, removed four screws that hold white trim piece, removed two screws that hold end piece, then removed four screws that hold the clock and element controls, pulled the panel forward exposing the clock, removed two screws that hold clock in place, disconnected the three groups of wires going to old clock, connected groups of wires to new clock and finished assembling in above reverse order.

My clock assembly had ceased to display numbers (time, oven degrees, etc.).
The first step was to cut the electricity to the range/oven. I disconnected the front that houses the clock assembly. After carefully watching how the assembly was connected, I disconnected it and connected the new one. It was a simple process and it saved me the expense of having a service person come.

Clock/Oven display non-working
Removal of the front display was held in by four screws. The clock assembly was fastenend by four socket type screws. Three electronic connectors are easily released and the new unit installed by reversing the order just explained. Very easy.

The clock/timer LED light had faded out, but still kept time.
We read all of the other repair stories, but none said where the screws were to remove the front control panel. We spent most of the time trying to find the right screws, taking apart unnecessary trim, etc. Finally, I removed and looked under the control knobs. Voila! We had already removed ALL the screws from underneath the panel. It took just a bit of wiggling to get the panel off. The easy part was unhooking the old unit and rehooking the wires for the new one, and of course, putting it back together.

The clock light was out and you couldn't set the oven temperature even though it still worked.
I removed the three screws holding the trim plate along the front panel. Then I removed the four screws attaching the panel to the stove. I then ubhooked the three wires from the clock assembly and the two screws holding the assembly to the panel.
Extremely easy fix. There's no telling how much I saved on a service call by doing the repair myself. The part was shipped to me very quickly and the fix was a breeze.

lights out illuminating clock, timer, oven indicators
First I removed 4 screws holding front plate, unscrewed 6 other screws. Snapped out old element unit and snapped in new one. Very easy to do. Many helpful hints on your website to assist me and gave me courage to attempt to do without calling repair man. I am sure I saved at least $150 to $200 by doing myself. Hopefully, this one will last longer than the original one. By reading all other comments; it appears that Jenn Air should recall and replace defect free of charge.

Bad Electronic Clock Assembly
I accidentally found this website for the exact part I needed at the right time at a cheaper price. Great site and I received the product the next day even though I chose the normal shipping. I just followed others suggestion on how to replace the bad unit and I was able to change this part in less than 15 min. I want to thank this site for providing the required do-it yourself ideas. My clock is new and bright now. Great site and great product. I am really happy with this order.

Oven would not turn on and get hot.
Our oven quit working again. I called the repair(dealer) man and he said we needed a new control panel. It would cost $180.00 and labor would be $60. The total repair would be $240.00. We considered just purchasing a new one. It is a slide-in range and they start at about $1500. So I began looking for a control panel on line. I found your web site and entered what was wrong with the oven. Your site suggested we try replacing the oven sensor. There was a video that showed how simple the repair was. We ordered the part. It came quickly and I immediately made the repair (about 10 min). I was very disappointed that it did not work. I went back to you web site and tried the next option. It was a terminal block for only $20.00. I didn't even know what a terminal block was, what it looked like or where on the range to find it. But I went again to your video and I learned quickly what to do. I ordered the part and it came in two days. I made the repair in about 15 min. My wife was very happy that the repair worked. Our total cost was about $80. The $240 quote would not have fixed the oven anyway. The repairman was wrong. I was very happy with the results and the money we saved.. Good Job PartSelect and thanks.

No lights on control panel - Oven worked
My electrical engineer son was skeptical of my diagnoses and wanted to be there so I didn't electrocute myself. Opened oven door so interior light came on. Went to circuit box and opened proper circuit (previously determined). Light went off. Started timing, removed 7 seven screws, I held the panel while my son removed the wires from connections. I expected the long multi-wire to release from the panel, but only a part of it came up when we squeezed the ends which released the wires. Removed four hex-head screws, put new panel in place, re-installed screws, inserted multi-wires into connector, connected the other two wires, re-installed the 7 screws, closed circuit breaker. 17 minutes. Set clock. Works like a new one. It appears the display unit lost vacuum. One small black spot like a burned incandecent filament. Engineer was impressed.
