Bake Element Out
Turned off the breaker, did not unplug the oven (this should be done as the prongs had residual heat). Removed the plates that held the element in place, detached the element from the wire, attached new element to the wire (the new element was slightly different the wire did not slide down as far as the original). Reattached plates, turned breaker back on, tested oven, voila - done.

Burnt out baking element
My husband and I removed the burnt baking element. Then, I unplugged the range and removed the screws on the back panel of the oven. Secondly, the new element was placed in the oven and the electrical cords were connected. The only problem that I had was trying to place a safety bracket on one of the electrical wires. I did not have the correct type of backet so I used electrical taped to avoid and electrical discharge from occurring. I feel this is the reason the old baking element caught on fire. It was only two years old. We rent and the range is part of the appliances in the house. The oven is working very well.

Heating element
Took the old unit out with a small nut driver real fast. Be careful the inside of the oven is small and the metal is thin it will dent if you lean to hard. But that is not the story the story is how fast my replacement part arrived I ordered on a Monday evening before Christmas and arrived on Wednesday. I had the part in no time. Sears was back ordered (Just Saying) I don't think closing another store will help that. I will try to fix anything but you have to have the part!!!!

No Power to the Oven
Watching the video showed an easy, unscrew and screw back on process while connecting the wires back. It was really that simple. Once it was complete (not even 10mins), plugged it back in, and its been working great since.

bake element burned out
The bake element burnt out so i replaced it which went really easy a couple of screw and two wires. Then it still wouldn't work, so i purchased an electronic oven control and replaced that just some screws and flipping over wires and a wire harness now all is well and only spent $180 which is far less than a new oven.

previous element burned out
First I pulled the oven away from the wall. Then I unplugged the cord from the wall. I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I took the old element out and then put the new element in and connected the two wires.I pushed the elements back into place. I reconnected the power cord to the wall and pushed the oven back in place. It was quick and easy.

Intermittent heating element function
Instructions included with terminal block assembly. Toughest part was to strip the insulator off of the old wires on the stove. I was originally going to just purchase one but after looking at the other terminal blocks and seeing the burnt insulation and some of the wire strands, I just replaced all 4. PartSelect customer sevice was very helpful to confirm the correct part number I needed for my stove.
