Bake Element Shorted Out
- Cut the power to the oven (I used breaker). - Unscrew 2 screws. - Disconnect from 2 electric terminals. - Remove old bake element. - Connect new bake element to 2 electric terminals. - Screw the 2 screws back on. - Turn the breaker back on. ------------------------------------------------> Done! . . Control Rod On Switch Was Broken Off
I looked at video and followed the instructions from the man in the video. I pulled out range and then unplugged range from electrical outlet. I removed screws from back and took back off. I then took the two screws out from front of switch. I pulled switch out and then removed one of the wires off and placed it in the same place on the new switch. I did same on the other two wires. I then put switch back in place and tighten the two screws on front. I replaced the back on the range. I plugged range back into the receptacle, pushed range back in place. I put control knob on and then turned it on. The eye worked fine. Very easy!

Infiniti switch needed to be changed.
Quit after getting shocked. New part had different configuration. Hard to see marking for pull and plug from old switch to new switch. New switch had different configuration. After all that and making sure switch worked, got shocked as stove was pushed back to wall. Some other issues with wiring has a shorting out problem. Maybe time to call a pro or get rid of the stove and get the gas stove we have been longing for. Be sure to match points on pulling and plugging as the configuration may be different.

The burner coil had been broken
Just plugged it in! The hardest part was finding the model number. It was inside the top of the stove, while cleaning, I found it-on the left hand side when you take out the burner pans. I searched this site, found the part and when it arrived I just plugged it in and it worked fine. I would say less than 5 minutes to fix this issue.

heating element no longer worked
pulled out the range and unplugged the range from the outlet! removed the oven racks. unscrewed the heating element and pulled out the wire connections a bit so i could grasp the connectors better and so they would not go back into the holes. getting the bad element off the connectors was the most difficult part of the process - this is what took the longest for me. I used pliers to grab the heating element connector and wiggle until it came loose from the connectors. once off, it was pretty simple to re-connect the replacement element and tuck everything back and screw the element back onto the oven wall. WA-LA!! back in the baking business - kids and mom are happy again! temp needs calibrating, but should be able to figure that out....thanks much!

Burner would no turn off.
A Phillips screwdriver and pliers were all the tools required. At first glance, the physical appearances of the OEM and the replacement were not identical. The slide-on electrical tabs were numbered on each in the same way. Sliding off the connectors and re=connecting them on the same number tab on the new switch was all there was to it.

The bake element to our range had gone out.
Although I had a general idea of what to do, I watched a video on this website; it ensured me that I could repair this. Over all I spent 30 minutes repairing the oven, but 15 minutes of that was spent trying to find the right tool. I didn't have a screw driver with a square head, so I ended up putting a square bit in my electric drill. This WAS A VERY EASY REPAIR. On the video, the repairman took less than 3 minutes, but that was optimum. All you do is (1) make sure the breaker is off; (2) remove the bad element by taking two screws out at the back of the oven; (3) disconnect the wires coming from the oven; (4) hook the same terminals up to the new element; (5) push the wires back inside the oven body; (6) insert the screws into the holes on the new element; (7) tighten the screws to the oven body and YOU ARE THROUGH. THAT EASY!

Lower bake element broke in two.
Either disconnect power plug or shut off breaker to oven. Remove racks from oven. Remove the two screws from back of oven that hold element. CAREFULLY pull the ends of element from back of oven so as not to loose the connected wires. Disconnect wires from element terminals. (Be careful not to allow the wires to fall into the backside of oven) Reattach wires to the new element, carefully insert through the holes and reinstall screws.

Bottom heating element burned out. Oven would not heat up.
Safety first. Turn the breaker off. This repair is so easy. Remove the two screws at the back of the oven. The heating element will pull out about 2 inches. Disconnect the heating element from the terminals. Plug the new heating element back in. Reinstall the screws. Turn the breaker back on. Your finished. This repair probably saved me $100.00 for a service call and parts.

The electri oven element burned out and needed relaceing
I followed the online video and it worked out just as it said. I unscrewed the contact bolts, disconnected the contacts, ( they were a little corroded but eventually came out with a little persistence and effort) and reconnected the new element, and ...Voila!!! It worked Be sure to to turn off the power before beginning the job.
