Burnt-out bake element
My wife had seen a small fire in the bottom right of our oven, and I quickly turned off the oven unit, which put out the fire. We tested the oven a couple more times after it had cooled and determined that indeed the bake element had burned out. I'd used PartSelect before and been very pleased with their service (speed, ease of use of site, etc.,etc.) so I ordered a new bake element, which arrived in two days! It was easy to replace: I turned off the circuit breaker, slid the oven out from the wall, disconnected the plug, and then got to work undoing the tabs that hold the bake element to the rear wall. The only little glitch was that the screw heads on our range were neither slot nor Philips - they turned out to be small square-socket screws. I couldn't see that until I turned a bright flashlight on the job. Then it was a simple matter of trading out the screwdriver bit, disconnecting the old element, plugging in and attaching the new one, and away we went. Oven as good as new! Thanks, PartSelect!

burner switches had only two settings off and high
After making sure it was the switches themselves not the burners that were the problem, it was easy locating the exact parts I needed on PartSelect and the shipment arrived in a timely manner. I had to replace two out of four switches. Using a screwdriver, I detached the display pannel and removed the faulty switches. Then I disconnected the old wires and attached them to the new switches, one at a time. Closed everything up and the "new" range works great!

One terminal was hard to remove.
Turned off electric at breaker box for range. Using a socket wrench from my little pink tool kit, I removed the two screws holding the unit at the back of the oven. Gently pulled each side of the unit out, exposing the terminals. Holding with one hand and wiggling the terminal with the other, removed the element. One was very easy, but the other was harder. Next I connected the new element to the terminals. Gently pushed the terminal back into the oven wall and replace the screws. Last turned the electric back on and then turned the oven on. The video that was online was very helpful.

Front and rear glides broke on bottom drawer.
After watching the videos on removing and replacing the front and rear glides on the bottom drawer, I was able to take the bottom drawer out, use a screwdriver to pry all the glides out of their slots and snap them all back in place in less than a minute. Without the videos I was completely helpless in knowing the sequences to performing this task.

Bottom Element required replacing
Thanks to the video on your web site, the replacement was very easy! We had a hard time removing the screws from inside the oven as we did not have a hexnut driver, but once we removed the screws then we lost one of the wires, (it fell back into the little hole) and then we had to remove the back of the oven to get the lost wire, push it through the little hole and we connected the new element, screwed it back in and then we baked some cookies.

oven wouldn't work
Pulled stove away from the wall and unplugged it. Removed probe and cut the wires because the connection clip on the new probe was different from the original. Leave the wires as long as possible because you will need the extra length to splice the clip from the old probe to the wires on the new one. Replaced probe and plugged the oven back in. Done.

Large burner wouldn'cycle to temperature setting
Large burner would cycle on and off per temp setting a few times. Then it would stick on high. Read other problems people had with the burner switch, which helped to determine the problem. Instillation per video was pretty straight forward; but the issue I ran into was when pulling off the wires from old switch, there was a short wire which connected to the indicator light. The abrupt release yanked the wire which caused the lens indicator to snap. So, when you are repairing the switch, be aware if there is enough slack in the wires to prevent that issue

Lower element would not heat
Replaced the bottom element in the oven. Had to remove the 2 screws holding the element in place. Gently pulled the element loose and disconnected it from the wires connected to the oven. Connected new element to the 2 oven wires. Gently pushed the new element into the holes of the oven. Replaced the screws and I was done
