Early in the cycle, dryer was making a loud noise
As the clothes began to dry and got lighter the noise stopped. Apparently the noise was the result of the rear lower portion of the drum scraping the heater coil due to a well worn upper front felt seal. To repair; I watched a how-to-repair video that was posted on the internet and after watching it, everything was easy.

No dial on the dryer
My mother, age 79, had been using a pliers to adjust the settings on her Frigidaire dryer, since the dial was lost years ago. She could never "get it right." I looked on-line and found Part Select (after 1st getting lost on the Frigidaire web-site). Easy to find the part, quick ordering and delivery. My mom's delighted with the easy fix.

The belt broke on a squeaky dryer
I raised the top up by releasing the two clips in the front edge with a small flat head screwdriver. I used a bungie cord to keep the lid from bending to far back. I removed the front of the dryer softly letting the drum rest on the insides. I carefully removed the drum by pulling upward to disengage the rear bearing and not damage the heating element. I then cleaned the entire inside of the dryer with a vacuum, brush, and some compressed air. I then replaced and greased the new plastic bearing cup, installed the drum, slipped the belt on, installed the front cover, and hooked up the belt through the access door on the rear of the dryer. Checked to see if the system looked ok and closed the lid. Worked great. I would order a front seal felt kit also if I was to do it again.

Dryer ran, had no heat
Your website was very helpful in narrowing down and diaganosing the problem. A continuity tester verified an open solenoid. Ordered Sunday evening, parts arrived Tuesday. Ignition coils drop in place with a holddown bracket and one screw. Wiring harness is reattached. Front of dryer is put in place followed by the top. Plugged in the dryer (it is just commom sense to have the power off). Started dryer, of course it ran WITH heat. The end of the story is HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE. Happy to do business with you. Loud squeaking noise
Followed the video. Very helpful. There is no way I could have done this on my own without that guidance. Parts in Rear Drum Bearing Kit included new screws and metal support parts that are shown as reused in the video. To install these parts, I had to hold the back plate in place. A big piece of masking tape did the job nicely. The only major problem was tapping the holes in part that attaches to the drum -- very difficult. Needed my best Phillips screwdriver, leather gloves, and a lot of hand strength to get it done. I had to slightly ream out one of the holes to make the last screw fit. Minor problem - the idler arm is not retained by anything. The idler pulley and arm both fell off when I reinstalled the belt. I guessed right on how to get them back on the machine.
