Old knob cracked and needed to be replaced
I feel very silly doing this. I'm 76 year old female and always, well most always did home my own home repair. This was a no brainer, a 4 year old child could do it......I just had to find the right replacement knob, order it and when it arrived I put it in the place where the first one was missing. :-) Just trying to be silly here....he he

LOVE this stovetop and want to keep it as it works beautifully!
The main issue was getting actual knobs for a cooktop that is well over 21 years old. Clearly I am the first to really cook on it!
These are the proper fit. Two were broken. Easy to simply lineup and push down to install.
The main point I would like to make is the Wonderful Woman who took my call and basically searched for the knobs. Thank you Thankyou!

All cooktop eyes started sparking at the same time, had to turn off at circuit breaker
Called local repair company and said that it wasn't fixable, had to go. It was 12 years old and they don't make them to last anymore. Next door neighbor is handy. He came over and got the part out and said to go downtown and get replacement part. It was late and I looked on the internet and saw your Hours of Op, called and got a Saint named Lee. He and I went back and forth with photos and emails. He needs to be promoted. I have never had such a fun time at that hour discussing cooktop parts nor gotten the respect and customer service that is usually reserved for experienced repairmen, much less a woman. He went above and beyond. Plus he had personality, patience and encouragement. Instead of the $1200 that we had prepared for to replace our cooktop, we were out $35. Lee was phenomenal. I asked to speak to his supervisor to commend him and he declined! That is one self-fulfilled agent you have there. And I am so glad you sent this survey so that I get to tell you how amazing Lee is!!!
