bulb burned out light that is under the microwave, which lights the oven below.
thank you for the video--very clear, responsible, applicable although the illustration was not exactly of our kind of light. the bulb was exactly like the one Hotpoint used in its microwave made in 1989! I will come back to you for parts in the future. (You have the model # from my original order.)

Door handle broke
I removed the one screw, the other end was broke. Replaced the handle. At first it didn't screw in tight, so I turned it around and put in both screws and bingo, good as new. Thanks for your quick response. Was simple.

Microwave Door Handle broke at bottom
When I tried to remove the handle, I discovered someone (teenage step daughters) attempted to glue the broken handle to hide the fact that it was broken. It did not work. The handle broke again, leaving part of the handle assemply suck in the door. I had to use a cordless drill to drill out the glued in portion of the handle. Fortunately, when the drill bit dug it, it broke the glue seal and the broken insert came out. After that, it was a breeze to install the replacement door handle.

The door handle on my Space Saver Microwave broke at the screw mount
It was very simple...there were two screws on the inside of the door that held the handle. Removing the screws was easy and the new handle lined up perfectly. I replace the screws and the whole event took less than 15 minutes. The handle arrived from PartSelect the day after I ordered it and even though they had projected 3-5 days for delivery.

handle didn't come w/new screws
I had to shim the outside to get the door tight, the original screws are longer than what the current handle requires. For the price ,new screws should be a part of the package.
