Removed 2 screws, popped out the old part. Looked at the part number on the piece. Ordered and when it arrived 3 days later, I put the new part in its place. Works great. read more

I removed all of the internal shelves from the refrigerator side. I then removed the cooling panels from the bottom area. this exposed the fan assembly and cooler. I found ice all over the unit. Using the putty knife, pry off the faceplate for the ice/water dispenser. disconnect the wire harness. Using Philips head screwdriver, remove the dispenser assembly. Remove the old dispenser and replace. Reverse for reassembly. Note * I should have bought the water dispenser lever and replaced it as well since I had the assembly out.
