Fan makes noise when opening refrigerator side of unit. This does not happen when opening freezer side. Is there more than one fan motor? May i order the part, please?

Hi Robert, Thank you for your question. There are 2 motors in in your refrigerator. There is the evaporator fan motor which is normally located behind the wall in the freezer section and there is also the condenser fan motor which is usually found behind the refrigerator near the compressor. It sounds like you may need the evaporator fan motor. I would check both motors to see which one is causing the issue. Once you determine which motor is causing the issue, you may order it either online, by visiting our live chat sessions, Monday to Friday from 8AM to 4PM EST, or by calling our customer service line at 1-888-738-4871 and anyone will be happy to assist you. For more information on how to test these parts, click on the Appliance Repair link on our website and on the next page that comes up click on the refrigerator icon. When the next page comes up, you will be provided with a symptoms list. Choose the "Fridge and Freezer too warm" symptom and the information will come up for you. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
