oven element caught fire.
No real problems, except for the length of the leads. Used alligator clip to hold wire coming out of the back of the oven so I did not lose them in back of oven wall. All fit great and works fine now.. Thanx, John

Broiler Element burned out
From inside the oven after turning off the breaker I removed all of the mounting screws with a nutdriver, I removed the wire screws after taping all of the wires together with a small piece of tape to prevent them from falling back into the opening. I installed the wires with the original screws as the provided screws would not fit the holes, tightened them, removed the tape and placed the element back into the opening. I then tightened the hanging brackets, after getting them to align and then tightened the rear mounting bracket. It did help to adjust the baking rack down and leave the baking rack in place to have a place to rest my arms. The install then became a piece of cake!

Bottom heating element burned out and broke in half
As others have written, it was simple and straightforward.. remove the back plate by removing two screws.. pull element forward until electrical wires are exposed.. Remove the two screws which attach the wires and remove failed element. Reverse the process to install the element..only difference between the broken element and the replacement one is that that the new one used machine screws instead of sheet metal-type screws.. Thankfully, the proper screws were included with the new element. Total time less than 30 minutes.

Old element melted through/would not heat up
I had previously removed the old element by loosening and removing the two screws to the back wall, pulling the element out the few inches slack in the wires and removing the two screws from the wire lugs to the element. When the new element came in, I just worked in reverse - attached the wire lugs to the new element, pushed it to the back of the oven, placed and tightened down the screws to the back of the oven.

Bake element disintegrated
First,I removed the oven door and shelving. I unpluged the range. Then I removed the plate holding the element to the wall of the oven. I then pulled gently on the prongs until they were visable. I then pulled the plugs from each end of the element. After that I plugged in the prongs on the new element, pushed them back into the oven wall, attached the plate with the two socket screws, turned on the oven and had great pride that I was able to fix this myself! This took all of 15 minutes! It was very easy and I thank this company,"Part Select" for the DIY instructions and for having the part that I needed. Doing business with you was a pleasure and you are very prompt and kind.I am certainly recommending you to all of my friends! Thank you. Patricia

broken nylon retention pin in upper oven door
Removed 3 lower screws holding the upper oven inside door panel to the door frame. There is enough flexibility in the panel to coax it away from the frame at least an inch. Removed the old nut plate from inside the door and replaced it with the new one. Screwed in the retention pin and 2 washers while holding the nut in place. Assembled the 3 lower screws to complete the assembly.
