Light Bulb

This OEM 40 watt appliance light bulb is used for some ranges, refrigerators, freezers, and microwaves. Simply locate the existing bulb, unscrew it from its socket, and replace with new light bulb. If the existing bulb is broken in the socket, disconnect the power to the refrigerator and use a pair of needle nose pliers to grip the internal fragments of the bulb to unscrew. Replace with the new bulb and reconnect the power to the refrigerator. These bulbs are sold individually and are a commonly replaced part; consider ordering a spare.

Bake Element

This is a 2100 watt bake element for your oven or range. The element supplies heat from the bottom of the oven to bake or cook your food. You may need to replace the bake element if your oven is not heating properly. Simply remove oven racks to access the bake element. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws that secure the element to the oven body. Electrical wires feature slip-on connectors for easy installation, but be sure to hold the wires forward so the wires do not fall back through the rear of the oven. Unplug your appliance or shut off your circuit breaker to the appliance before installing the new part.

This broil element supplies heat for cooking and is located in the roof of an oven. If there is little to no heat when cooking, a damaged element, or food is taking too long to cook, these symptoms could be solved by replacing this part. Before starting this replacement, make sure to unplug your range from the power source or shut off from the house circuit breaker. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to complete this repair. Turned power off at electrical panel. Pulled oven away from wall. Removed back cover (6 screws), then unplugged wires from old receptacle. I had to pull the squeeze clips backwards & break them to remove the old receptacle - couldn't squeeze them enough to remove them otherwise. Replaced element. Removed shelves, removed two screws and lifted/wiggles old element out to pull wires off at connectors. Reversed process installing new element and truned on to test/burn off "newness" Done! read more
