Ice maker makes ice, till ice bucket gets full and then stops making ice, like it is supposed to. Once it does that though, it frosts up and when you empty ice out and want more ice made, it does not work

It appears you might have a freeze up on your lines, this could be caused by a faulty temperature sensor PS4138652 and/or a faulty water inlet valve PS8737459, you should check for signs of damage, and replace if necessary. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.
OPENED THE LEFT SIDE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WHERE THE DEFECTIVE MECHANISM WAS. GOT UP ON THE FIRST STEP OF THE STEP STOOL,REMOVED THE PHILLIPS HEAD RETAINING SCREW FROM THE BROKEN PART.PUT THE NEW CLOSING MECHANISM IN PLACE AND RE-INSTALLED THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW. STEPPED DOWN FROM THE STEP STOOL AND SHUT THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR.
