Drip Bowl - 6"

This drip bowl is used for electric cooktops and ranges, it is designed to sit under a six-inch surface burner. It catches the drips and spills coming from the cookware on the surface burner. This drip bowl is chrome, and it has a diameter of 7 2/3 inches. You need to remove the burner element to replace this part. Line the hole up with the element terminal blocks, and ensure the new bowl is flush with the surface of the cooktop before replacing the burner element. Drip bowls need to be replaced when they are lost, damaged, or you are no longer able to clean them adequately. This replacement part is sold individually.

Standard Y-Frame Surface Burner - 6" - 1500W

The standard y-frame surface burner provides heat to your range. If you notice that your element will not heat, you may need to replace your surface burner. This product is 6 inches in diameter, and 1500W. The manufacturer suggests replacing the receptacle at the same time that you replace the surface burner. Many of our customers have rated this repair as very easy, and you will not need any tools. To complete the repair, simply lift out the old burner and replace it with the new one. Check that the burners are turned off before you begin this repair.

Surface Burner Stabilizer Clip Kit

The surface burner stabilizer keeps your burners level and secure to your gas range. Stabilizers are used to ensure there is a constant burning of the gas-air mixture by the surface burner. If your burner is not producing heat, or not heating evenly, there could be an issue with the stabilizing clip. The clip is made of plastic, and if it is broken or not working properly it should be replaced. This genuine OEM surface burner stabilizer kit is sourced directly from the manufacturer, and comes with everything you need to install the stabilizer clip. This includes the clip, one screw, and one nut.

took old bowls out, put new bowls in, took a coffee break read more

Needed to replace chrome drip bowls and replace one of the hold down clip since previous owner used incorrect drip bowls and put pressure on the hold down clip.

Pulled out the electric element from the range, replaced the new drip bowl on three of the burners and then replaced the electric element pushing it into the hold down clip.
