replaced element
just diconnected the electric unscrewed the 2 screws that held the element in place, then i unplugged the old element, plugged in the new element, replaced the 2 retaining screws. that was it! Frigidaire customer service had no clue how to help me find this element for an old wall mount oven. I spent over a half hour on the phone with them.
The cool part about parts select is, I was on the phone with them less than 5 minutes and had already found and paid for the element i was looking for. on and off the phone in less than 5 minutes.
Thanks a lot parts select, what a great experience doing business with you.

Bake element wouldn't heat
Older model Frigidaire oven (1957?). Worried that couldn't find the bake element for it. Called and got help. Measured the possible part from picture online and looked like it might work. Sure enough it did. Part arrived quickly and matched up well enough and installed with screwdriver in less than 30 minutes. Powered it up and it "glowed" with delight. My wife had her oven back!

Had to replace oven bake element hwich had failed
This is a big old probably 1950's 40"+ wide electric range with a left and right oven four top burners and a large prep area....the left oven lower bake element failed.....do not try to remove the element....simply slide out oven chamber after removing the safety bracket at the top that keeps the chamber from falling out....probably designed like this for easy cleaning.......the bake element is bolted to the back wall bracket so there are nuts on the back side to remove along with and a contact ground strap......the replacement element has bayonet type connecteors while the original had bent flat metal contacts......I was able to adjust the tension on the stationery contacts in the oven so the beyonet made a good connection....no clue how to duplicate the contacts on the original element nor did I see a choice in my on line parts search......fingers crossed this will last.....great old electric range with spacious ovens

Received the oven element from FedEx. It was bent and I had to order it again
What I thought would be easy was very difficult, because the element was bent.
It wasn't packed properly, and it appears that something heavy was laid on top of it

I had to order another one, but I'm waiting on wires and connectors from another vendor

Replace the element
I followed the instructions here, and completed the replacement within 5 min. The hardest part of this job was finding the part. With the picture of the part on the graph, choosing the right part was simple. The part arrived within 2 days and our oven is as good as new. Thanks PartSelect.
