First I removed the door from the double oven as instructed in the owner's manual. Then I removed the screws holding the door together. I removed the layers necessary to get to the inner door glass. Then reassemled it in the order that I had taken it apart. A total of 15 screws. My tip would be pay close attention to how you disassemble.
Not only did we save the cost of a repairman but because of Part Select we got the glass for less than half the price quoted to us from Kitchen Aid for the part and delivery.

I pinpointed the location of the sound, took off the protective plate, felt it vibrating against the plate. I disconnected the power supply, and looked at the wirings and how it was connected, saw some burning residue surrounding the area of the Transformer. Then figured that I could simply replace this. I wrote down the Model and Serial number of the Stove, searched online, found this site. Located the part on the diagram, then simply ordered it. My part arrived in 3 days, and had the part replaced the next day. Couldn't be a smoother fix. Thanks.

opened door and secured the open position with a 3/8 allen wrench through the hole at the base of the support arm. (small bolt or other round, short object can be used). This locks the door in a 75% open position. Locking the door open allows easy lift and removal. Six screws and the door is apart. Clean and reassemble.
