Dryer drum squeaking when running
The instructions from everyone was spot on! Take the 2 screws out that hold the top on. Open the door and the screws are right inside. Lift the top and slide the top to the left to release it from the back control panel. Then on each side, there are 2 screws that hold the front panel on. Take them out and lift the front off of the bottom pins and swing the front out to the left. Keeping in mind the wires on the bottom left side. The Drum Bearing will pop right out. Install the new slides and pop the new one back in. To install the front back on, hold the drum up and set the front back onto the pins on the bottom. Install the 2 screws that hold the front on. Slide the top back onto the guides in the back and install the 2 screws. It takes longer to clean out the lint and open the packages than to install the parts.

Dryer "Start Switch" would not work
I Removed 5 "Star Screws" for access to the back side of operating switch panel. Removed wires from old start switch, then removed switch. Installed new start switch and wires. I re-installed access panel and star screws. Dryer was back to normal. Total time: less than 10 minutes.

I was very happy with partsselect.com. The website was VERY easy to use. I placed my order about noon and I received the start switch before 10:00 am via FedEx the next day. Thanks for your help PartsSelect!

Terrible squeaking from the front side of the dryer.
I did not know anything about fixing a dryer beforehand but the Parts Select video was extremely helpful. It matched exactly what I needed to do, from showing me which screws I needed to remove to get inside the dryer to replacing the part. I simply removed the front drum bearing, replaced all four slides (gray and white), and snapped it all back in. It took me less than 30 minutes and probably saved me $100 in repair costs.

Horrible squeaking noise during operation
The only tool used was a phillips head screwdriver. I removed two screws to lift the lid and two more screws to free the front panel, slid off the front panel, and had direct access to all 4 slides, replaced, reassembled, and good as new.

Noise when drying clothing
Its simple .1 remove the screws in the frnt inside of dryer door ,top of door each side . remove the top of the dryer . set aside . There are two screws on each side inside of dryer ,remove them and the frnt will come off . be careful of the wires .(OH before starting cut the power off to the dryer !)The old bearing just pulls out and the new one slides in easy as that .put the thing back together and it will go like it should and last another 13 years .

Dryer runs but does not heat
My dryer would run but not heat and the timer would not advance. PartSelect helped me determine that the heating element needed to be replaced. I have very little experience with appliance repair. I found this to be challenging but well worth it.

heating element had broke connection
when dryer was taken apart it was discovered the belt and the skides needed to be replaced as well. The parts arrived however, I did not know only 1 glide was ordered and sent. It was assumed they would have come with as many you needed; did not realize they were charged indivdually. The repair was pretty much easy. The dryer is now heating correctly and this has been the first repacement of parts I've had to do in the amount of time of I've had the dryer. Parts Select had everything I needed and it was shipped in a timely manner. I was very pleased.
